  1. Looks like you’re going to get your nuclear war after all.

Very tricky of you to juxtapose Obama and Bill Clinton and not one word about Trump’s provocative comments today.

    • Provocative words, as opposed to actual nuclear weapons? I’m sorry. Your equivalence meter is malfunctioning. Bubba Dropdrawers and Hussein the Magnificent both aided and abetted our enemies. But what Trump SAID is worse than existing nukes?

    • Bubba Dropdrawers and Hussein the Magnificent both aided and abetted our enemies. But what Trump SAID is worse than existing nukes? Sticks and stones may break my bones, but nukes will surely bake them.

      • Yeah, Dan S, glad to see you commenting again. I guess the Trumpster is just exaggeratin’ a bit, sorta like the two examples our host provided above, huh? Do you suppose he might actually do something? Pull a Clinton and bomb an aspirin factory, or whatever it was? Maybe put a lawyer beside every soldier, sailor, airman and Marine before they’re allowed to do something to stop Kim Foo Young, as Obama seemed to want to do when he used troops?

  2. The ugly part is.., we may already be there Denny. The rhetoric between North Korea and America is heating up with many experts saying North Korea can deliver an ICBM into America anywhere at this point. I truly believe that it is only a matter of time before Iran has one. And then I will witness a nuclear war in my lifetime. Pretty damn sad how we got to this point in my opinion.

  3. Hey Denny;

The mainstream media will make sure that they are remembered fondly. The problem is that the can has been kicked down the road for soo long by soo many presidents now the chickens are coming home to roost. Reagan kept the Iranians in check in the late 80’s but the presidents since then were more interested in appeasement.

  4. Excellent comparison between Clinton & Obama views . I think one could classify Clinton as an optimistic but crooked Liberal & Obama as a well trained far left Socialist dedicated to the destruction of America. Both have been traitors to America. Both deserve condemnation .
We should also remember Bush Jr was not an better concerning the potential for North Korea. Bush was concerned with Democratic Nation building in the mold of America…..Unfortunately people under the domination of an imperial god worship family as is North Korea or the Middle East radical Islamist controlled shitholistan`s just do not understand freedom or are ready to abandon what they worship in favor of change.
Diplomacy, tolerance or a political solution does not work in these countries , It takes the big stick Teddy Roosevelt stated to maintain our freedom & position in the world . Parasites like Kim Jong Un or Radical Islamists need to be squashed & eliminated from the face of this earth.
You cannot live in peace & harmony with evil , they are a cancer to all of mankind.
Anyway welcome back Dan S , you have been missed.

  5. I agree to bomb them before they bomb us.
    It is just that simple.
Do it with nuke’s and not troops. Hey, it rhymes.
Let “them” re-build themselves and die of radiation poison.

  6. Thank you for the greetings upon my return.

For the most part, I never really left. I just quit posting.

In regards to the theme of yesterday regarding traitors, I just had to weigh in because we are now witnessing just two egomaniacs waving around nuclear weapons.

Remember the old axiom? “Games involving knives and guns are out for obvious reasons?” Now, these days, because of Twitter and all that, it will have to read “Games involving knives and guns and nuclear weapons are out for obvious reasons?”

You may not realize it yet, but what Kim Jong is doing is invoking another old axiom: “The best Defense is a great Offense.”

Or is it the other way around? Either which way, it is simply circular thinking based on emotions. In this case, the emotions of just two egomaniacs.

As was posted here, bomb them before they bomb us. Does that not set up an either/or that demands escalating speed of a rapidly shrinking circular thought process and even more emotion and less calming thoughts?

Perhaps I’m not stating it correctly here for your approbations. Which is why I quit posting.

Labeling Bill Clinton and Barack Obama as traitors -and leaving out the hundreds of thousands (if not millions (hell; BILLIONS!)) of “other traitors” doesn’t address the foundational issues at hand here.

As Henry Kissinger once said, “I’m not interested in power alone; I’m interested in what can be DONE with power.”

It all comes down to ego. Unchecked ego is as much an addiction as any other addiction. When someone has lived at the edge, the edge where life and death touch, where safety and danger intermix, where adrenalin pumps and senses stay on high alert they become addicted to the feeling.

I will be interested to see some response to my thinking. If none is forthcoming, I’ll go back to non-post mode and watch the addicts at work.

Every addiction starts with feeling powerless over something and they will never feel responsible for anyone else but themselves.

Hence, we have Kim Jong and Donald Trump.

More to follow based on reception.

    • The Obama’s and Clinton’s are just puppets who work for the globalist TRAITORS that created this distraction! Keep your eyes on China and India! Actions speak louder than words to those who get easily fooled by the main stream media! You can come back to my post here in the future when I’m right!

    • Dan, we may’ve disagreed with you in the past but I don’t remember you havin’ been banned, so I’m pretty sure Denny ain’t gonna run you off. And even if we never see eye-to-eye, you’re still my brother-in-arms. You’ll always get that respect from me.

  7. Dan S.
Dudley1 here,Regarding you post I am concerned with our POTUS being of a mind to use the power he commands when the need arises & that people like Kim Jong Un fully understand what the consequences will be to his country if he provokes our country to use that power if there is no other choice.
Right now the only thought Kim Jong Un can possibly have for us given the cowardice of Obama , the waffling of Bush & the stupidity of Clinton is the United States is not even a paper tiger it is more like a blow bag full of hot air.
This of course is 100% wrong & will get his country destroyed & millions of people killed unless he comes to understand what he really is facing.
The likelihood of a successful nuclear regional war is preposterous, this would go global if for no other reason then there is no way to contain the effects of a nuclear war to within the boundarie`s of North Korea ,its neighbors would be compelled to respond.
It is an absolute necessity we have a POTUS who projects a legitimate powerful determination to meet any provocation with the appropriate measured force needed to prevail over any adversary foolish enough to challenge us .
The secret is this, the ability of the United States to be able to prevail should be something our enemies need to fully understand as well as the destruction they would face if they chose to ignore that reality.
Teddy Roosevelt said ….speak softly but carry a big stick! today it is more appropriate to speak loudly with assured conviction but the stick is a lot bigger & should be feared.
Imagine what this world would be today if we appeared then be as & cowardly as has been our posture under Obama when Stalin or Krushchev was in the Kremlin. They knew & understood who we really were , our enemies today need to be brought to the same understanding.
Donald Trump today seems to me to have the back bone & will of a Harry Truman something sadly lacking in recent POTUS leadership.

    • Dudley1, a thoughtful reply which deserves an equally thoughtful reply.

As to this paragraph, “It is an absolute necessity we have a POTUS who projects a legitimate powerful determination to meet any provocation with the appropriate measured force needed to prevail over any adversary foolish enough to challenge us .” I would reply that anyone in any country anywhere on Earth needs merely goggle *US military Might.”

It is the other part of your paragraph that needs more said.

To that end, “It is an absolute necessity we have a POTUS who projects a legitimate powerful determination to meet any provocation with the appropriate measured force needed.”

What if we had a POTUS who was merely trying to PROVOKE an adversarial nation into launching a ‘first-strike’ on us? Wouldn’t we, the People, need some thoughtful discussion on this?

My original post didn’t mention the days after Pearl Harbor when FDR was being assailed for shifting all our naval might into one tight corral there as a ‘bait’ to Japan prior to December 7th 1941.

I get this from reading Churchill diaries from that time.

Frankly, I don’t think FDR bought into Churchillean drunken scotch notions but FDR, make no mistake, KNEW he could not be the first to attack, to open hostilities, to launch pre-emptive strikes against Japan Inc. I think that Trump and FDR have that in common; AT LEAST that.

As for Harry Truman, like him or lump him, he was no lying conniver or reality show host prior to and during his Presidency. He shared openly how he thinks and stuck to it all the way through. Read his thoughts on being elevated to POTUS upon the death of FDR; about his use of the A-Bomb; about the Marshall Plan. Then walk awhile in his shoes. One way of expressing that is Trump is no Truman.

What you and I are doing here, now, is what our paid-for politicians of all stripes should have been doing all along.

Democrat and Republican alike they only want to inflate their portfolios these days. Check it out deeply and you will find that power, as described in my original post, is what Henry Kissinger said.

I would agree to you and I extending this conversation on this Reply-Thread that Denny so well-provides us.

      Respect.

      • Dan S,
An excellent response & appreciate d…..Again, Welcome back!
I have read quite a bit about Harry Truman & consider he to be a very underrated POTUS, one who relied on his own counsel rather then to play to the media for popularity. This is one of the reasons I compare Trump to him.
I also believe Trump will not be the one to launch the pre-emptive strike. A second reason for my comparison.
Walk awhile in his shoes……Well Truman followed a powerful strong POTUS who had established the dominance of America in the coming era of a post WW2 world . Contrast that to Trump who followed a Cowardly inept traitorous Socialist who wanted to destabilize Americas world standing & did succeed to a large measure. These are shoes I am glad Trump refused to walk a step in let alone for awhile. A third reason I compare him to Truman in following his own path not peace at any cost advisors.
Trump has had a rough beginning to be sure but when one gets beyond the false narrative of Russian meddling ….”a Democratic excuse for Hillary`s failure” he has been making progress with his campaign agenda . A man who delivers what he promised , Another reason to support Trump who remains true to his word.
I particulary like Trump taking McConnell to the wood shed & stating do what you promised or get out of town…..Next on the to do list is to go after Ryan . Time for a change in leadership who will march instep with a POTUS with an agenda to make America great again instead of licking Democratic boots.
Lastly ask yourself why would a man who is a successful billionaire walk away from that to take a job that he said he would only accept one dollar of his salary for & donate the rest to charity. By the way he did exactly that & again a man of his word. I believe Donald Trump was honest when he said It is time for me to give back to my country for the good fortune & success I have had in my lifetime & am dedicating my efforts to restoring America to its rightful place as leader of the free world & the strongest most powerful nation on earth.
Contrast that to any Democrat or for that matter most of the leading Republican contenders in the last election.
Donald Trump was not my first candidate of choice but as he campaigned across this country & made his case to the people I came to support him realizing indeed he is a man of action ,a believer in this country & will work tirelessly for the benefit of the American people & the rebirth of America.
Frankly at this point in the history of our country….he is our last & best hope for our future.

        • Okay, guys, we all seem to agree that this is a situation that needs to be addressed, and the sooner the better. Are we better off dealin’ with it under a Trump presidency or a Clinton one? In my case I have to say that Cankles would be likely give us the same-same bs we’ve seen in the past. If we want to end the appeasement/threat circle jerk that’s been happening with the NORKs for years, let’s end it. The crazy guy over there knows that he just has to start actin’ all whackadoodle and the West and EUnuchs will give in. Maybe he’ll think twice when the Trumpster tells him that the handouts for blackmail are over and we ain’t puttin’ up with it. As long as Kim Ding Dong believes that Trump’s crazy enough to push the buttons and launch the planes we may hear the last of this shit.

  8. To both Inbred and Dudley1:

Your posts arrived almost simultaneously so I am a tad bit confused as to what I should understand.

I think we all 3 agree what is not wanted in any Presidency is one who decides things based on emotions. Our current President revels in exciting emotions at any cost. Emotions are ephemeral; they come and go and are appropriate at some times. Thinking is a bit more formal, and by extension, agendas.

If I understand how a person thinks, I am better off than understanding how they feel.

Apply that statement to any and all you know, and you have a solid base to express opinions based in fact and experience.

    This is not about Trump!

If someone says they will meet you at so-and-so, at a particular time, and then does not show, you have at least two things in play; how do I feel and what do I think. By extension, this causes a rise in questions. In turn, feelings and thoughts seem to be co-equal. They are not.

And yet action demands a blended-answer in actually doing something.

    Case in point:

I don’t have time now to devote to this topic as it deserves but feel that I should share the basis of my thinking with you.

I choose to recognize you both and check in later today with both of you with hope that you understand my thinking.

I’d feel good to exchange with you later this evening.

    Think about it.

    Regards!

  9. The only thing funny about this is that a total buffoon like Kim Jung Whatever played Sleazy Slick and Obozo for a couple of saps. Well probably not Slick. In Slick’s case there was either money or pussy in it for him. Like his wife, he doesnt give a rats ass about the country or the American people. But the Gay Muslim Narcissist is clearly a S4B idiot that any moron, even dumber that Fatboy can walk on like a rug.

  10. Well that was a rather abrupt end to a reconciliation,The statement made by Winston Churchill … ” Russia is a riddle wrapped in mystery inside an enigma “…does accurately describe Dan S
Sorry to see you go Dan S, however brief it was ,nice to see you`re doing well.
On your next trip from the moon try to stay a little longer.

    • You are correct! You are not happy if you cannot attack me on every degree of a 360 perimeter.

Do you see how that sets up every time?

Unlike you, I try to take data in from every every side and point of view and weigh each data-point on it’s value. Then, and only then, I ask myself who is trying to persuade me and why.

I’ve shared my thinking process with you every time we’ve conversed; I’ve never tried to win you over to my point-of-view. Out of respect, I leave that to you.

You seem to be saying that I should think like you and all will be well.

I don’t buy that philosophy. It falls within the snakiest of tactical thinking when a strategic goal is what’s required.

What do you reckon is the proper number of American Indians we should have killed while we stole their homes and culture?

How do you arrive at your numbers (assuming you do) and justify them?

THAT is what I thought you and even Denny where doing for all the years I’ve been here.

Now, it has devolved into simply making up crazy names for real people. which solves nothing and address’s even less.

Don’t give up on me; I lived on that adrenaline rush I posted about too long to think I’m merely hitting keys in the comfort of my computing-space.

If I shared that I was Argus-eyed, would that mean anything to you?

I don’t come and go from the moon as you state; my range is farther than that. In short, when I post here, I am simply trying to share with you that range. What you do with it is your own concern. I wasn’t trying to top you, best you, or beat you in any way; I certainly wasn’t trying to adjust your thinking.

      Never did, never will.

You know better than any and most, you don’t get “Fake News”-posts from me.

As is expressed in the French, “Respondez Vous!’

    • God Damn It! WHY??? You seem to think they are your neighbors and want to have a block-war with them.

What is your rationale for your comment?

Can you address your accusations and defend them?

Your comments evoke me to asking “should we shoot the gooks in the head of just hang them?”

      Some choice, eh?

      • Dan, my choice was between Hillary and Trump. Given the same ballot today, I’d vote the same. As for hangin’ or shootin’ “gooks”, I believe that the term is a corruption of a Korean word guek or geuk, which meant locals and the ROKs didn’t seem to have a preference as to how they dispatched the Cong.
Since we’ll never be able to talk Denny into running for CIC, I’ll just have to keep votin’ for second best.

  11. Let Trump tweet his way to the Hell is certainly going to.

I don’t hate him as many of you imply.

I see him as one who would deny his best devotees as irrelevant to his dreams and wishes. You might see for yourself how it unfolds everyday.

I recall someone here on Grouchy Old Cripple insisting he is/was exactly what America needed.

If that be so, I don’t live in that America.

The sooner you realize the hate & shame you level at Obama, the sooner you will realize that Trump is perhaps 15-to-50% worse on both his and your terms.

I assure you he is not working for you in many ways. He IS working to satisfy his own Ego. Wipe the partisan slime from your eyes and see for yourself.

4 dead in Ohio; back in the Seventies; today, 1 dead and 47 severely injured in Virginia this past weekend.

On that basis alone, your President is an idiot in way over his head. Running a Real Estate scam successfully is not what successful presidents in the past used to move us forward as a Nation.

As some advise me to do, I’ll give him a chance. Just like any other Grandpa who revels in his bygone days. Check with John McCain about that.

I hope you choke and cough when you realize where He is leading you.

I should let you know I get a lot of my advice from truckers on the road. Via CB radio. Those fellows who will be out of a job when the driverless big-rigs come along.

Trump might have told you what you wanted to hear, but he can’t and won’t be able to deliver.

Aside from trying to goad N Korea to start World War 3.

Have fun with your alternative beliefs.

Perhaps the musicians among you might pen a song.

    • Dan S wrote: “4 dead in Ohio; back in the Seventies; today, 1 dead and 47 severely injured in Virginia this past weekend.”

Dan – How many people were killed by Moslem terrorists under Obungler? And he refused to call them Moslem terrorists. How many cops killed by black people because of the hate group Black Lives Matter (If black lives really mattered, they dwould be protesting all the blacks killed by other blacks in Chicago and other big cities)? I haven’t heard anyone on the left, like Crooked Cankles or Obumbler denounce Antifa (there’s an irony – Antifa stands for anti-fascist, yet they are fascists who use the tactics of fascists – and why do they wear masks?) or BLM who are the real hate groups. One woman killed by a schizo nutjob and all white people are blamed yet let one Moslem kill people and he’s a lone wolf. Do you see the hypocrisy Dan?

By the way, from your writing it sounds like you are drug free. Congratulations! You are making a lot more sense even if you are on the wrong side.

  12. Dan S….Obviously it is our aversion to the likes of Obama which bothers you …I suggest you read in his own words how much he appreciated his Marxist professors , how he chose to identify & associate with the most radical of leftest students & the admiration he held for the Leadership of Joseph Stalin during his time at the helm. If you feel this represents what you feel is best for America then we are not on the same page & you are farther then the moon as to your range …Uranus perhaps.
Anyway everyone is entitled to an opinion even we who you apparently disagree with. The fact we consider him to be the worst POTUS this country has ever had is an opinion history will be the final judge.
As for your opinion of Trump , you are entitled to that opinion but don`t take it personal that we do not agree .

  13. First, thank you to both of you for continuing this conversation.

Second, if you do not recognize as of this very day, that Trump is NOT on your side you probably never will until it sox you in your very-own wallet.

Apparently, neither of you has ever been shucked by a huckster before in daily-living life.

    Hurrah for that!

As is said, you won’t realize the flim-flam until it steals from your-own wallet.

And Dudley1, please cite your source that BHO is an admirer of Uncle Joe Stalin. I can find no reference to your claim other than yours.
