Johnny McRINO acted up too late to make the cut lastt week and was in the running this week but he was beat out by the NFL. The NFL messed up bigly this past week from the commish to the owners to the coaches and to the players. Jerry Jones who in a viral email was reported to have said that any player who knelt would sit took a knee with his entire team. I knew the email was bullshit, just like the one about the Chief’s owner was bullshit.
What we have observed this week will be in marketing classes in the near future along with New Coke and Playboy’s decision to stop nudity in the magazine. You don’t piss off your customers.
As I said in an earlier post, the NFL could have quashed this last year when Colon Krapperdick started his antics and was aped by other black booger eatin’ moh-rons, but they were afraid of the blacks in the league. Now, the situation has spiraled out of control. Trump called them on it and they doubled down on their stupidity. Jones knelt with his team. Way to give your fans the finger Jerry. Did you forget that you are in Texas? Arthur Blank, the owner of the Falcons, and other owners locked arms with their players “in solidarity”. In solidarity of what? Telling the people who buy the tickets, watch the games on TV, and buy NFL merchandise to fuck off? You had a choice, you could pander to your black players and give the finger to the fans, or you could respect the fans and tell the black players to knock it off. Fines and suspensions would do wonders when the players felt it in their wallets. Now the NFL is feeling it in its wallet. How does if feel beauzeauz?

Blank became a billionaire with Home Depot. Did he suddenly forget all of his marketing expertise? Most of the other owners are businessmen. Did they suddenly forget that the customer is always right?
According to the news all the Packers stood for the national anthem Thursday night, but they locked arms, they didn’t stand with their hands on their heart. In other words, they’re still disrespecting the flag and the anthem. It’s funny listening to the semi-literate kneegro thugs saying they are not disrespecting the flag and the anthem. Then what are you doing? Half of them don’t even know.
Now, as ticket sales are declining and TVs are being turned off teams like the Steelers, who cowardly remained in the tunnel and the Denver Broncos say they will stand this week. Will they lock arms or will they respect the flag and the anthem? We’ll see. Or some of us will. Many others like me will not be watching.
You went full SJW NFL. Never go full SJW. You have seriously damaged your brand. Want some advice? Tell all of the players to stand respectfully with hands over their hearts. If they don’t, fine and suspend. You may even have to have some of your thugs cut ads apologizing for their reprehensible behavior. Or you could continue on the course that you are following. Pete Rozelle, Vince Lombardi, and Tom Landry are spinning in their graves. None of those three would have tolerated this bullshit.

I totally agree, the NFL deserves this prestigious award. I quit watching football years ago, wateched the super bowl for the commercials. The scary part is McRINO may take this as a challenge and do some bigger assholery, because he feels slighted

Bart Starr has been mute on the issue. He’s one of those old-school class acts who, when he has nothing good to say, says nothing at all. In fact, he’s been pretty quiet ever since Goodell became Commish in 2006.

The teams are making a calculated bet. They figure the fans, being civil, will squawk for a bit and then shrug it off after a few weeks. On the other hand, the SJWs, being uncivil, will commit major mayhem if not appeased. Real property damage, maybe injuries and deaths, and all attached to the NFL. That sort of thing isn’t quickly forgotten. So they figure the damage by trashing the fan base is the safer path.
I hope history will show them they made the wrong economic choice. And of course they made the morally wrong choice, appeasing bad behavior and punishing innocents because it’s “safer”. Which is to say the owners are cowards. But only time will tell if they pay a price greater than a short-term setback.
Give it about two weeks and we will see stadiums full of fans again. Not the traditional fans, not the hard working people who tossed their NFL garbage in the bon fires.
Every one of those stadiums is close to a slum, and you can bet that the owners will hire buses to head into the hoods and scalp tickets. Twenty bucks gets you a ride down and a hat. They will fill the stadium that way if they have to, move the loyal fans down and pack the nose bleed sections with the riffraff.
It is all about optics. Me? I don’t care what they do. I now have a whole bunch of Sunday afternoons to do better things then watch spoiled brat sjw’s who will leave the NFL broke and unemployable.
I agree about seeding the stands, but they won’t fill, they will pull the trick NASCAR does and close off sections and keep cameras low where they fill.
This is causing a fight in our house. My wife and I have different opinions on where we get to spend the money we used to pay for the NFL Sunday Ticket…
My Seahawks Falcons tickets sold this week for over four times face value. It is unbelievable. Generally, prices are down, but still bringing two to two and one half times face value.

I agree with you that they are disrespecting the Flag & Anthem, and it is intentional. It’s just like Obama “scratching” his nose with his middle finger & smirking. No, he knew he was giving us the bird, and just because he explained that he was only “scratching”, it doesn’t make it unintentional.
Sometimes the insult is intentional and there is no excuse for it, no matter how you try to excuse your behaviour, and when you’re held responsible for your behaviour, you can’t complain about it.

Did ya’all know the Department of Defense pays the NFL for the opportunity to conduct “patriotic displays?” From what I can find, this dates back to 2009 as an attempt to build up volunteers. DOD also pays for military recognition days.
So, easy fix. Cut off the funding. We shouldn’t be paying for it in the first place.
