Game Of Thrones

Any Game Of Thrones fans out there? I’ve watched the last two seasons because I heard there was a lot of nudity. Wrong! We did get to see Emilia Clarke’s tits last season as she walked out of the burning building and we got to see part of one of Lena Headey’s tits (no nipple) when she was getting out of bed with her brother Jaime this season. She’s bustier than I thought.

I didn’t recognize Emilia Clarke with her blonde wig. She played Sarah Conner in Terminator: Genesis. Lena Headey played Sarah Conner in The Sarah Conner Chronicles. So we have two Sarah Connor’s facing off against each other in GoT. It’s nice hearing both of them speak in their regular Brit accents.

The final insult this season was in the last episode when Jon Snow finally jumped into the rack with Emilia Clarke. Did we see any boobage? Nope. All we saw was Jon Snow’s bare ass. As my nephew would say, “How gay!”

And what about when the Night King killed one of Emilia’s dragons? Did she waste his ass? Nope. She let the mofo get away with killing one of her children. Kill the Ice King and the war is won.

I’m tempted to do a 24 type recap next season but I’m done with GoT. I’m not that big on epic fantasy, especially when there is no nudity. I didn’t watch any of the Lord of the Rings films. I tried reading the LoTR books when I was in the Navy. Made it halfway through the first book and thought it sucked and threw it away.

So no GoT recaps next season. Bring on West World! Now that I liked.

  1. Not a fan at all. No interest in seeing the series. I liked the LOTR movies, especially the last one. I only read the Hobbit once. To long for me. Never read any of the other books. These days I have very little interest in Epic Fantasy or Sci-Fi for that matter. Just lost interest in those genres.

    • I hear ya. Big pre-Star Wars sci-fi buff here; I love my science-based, rocketship space exploration pulp sci-fi, not the magical fantasy pseudo-religious stuff. And I especially despise the modern feminist fantasy bullshit. Sci-fi has been taken over by humorless SJWs and I have very little interest in it anymore.

      • Nailed it right there. Loved the stuff I used to read in paperbacks back in the 70’s before Star Wars. Your right about the stuff they have out now. Not for me anymore. Sorry I do not have any of those books with me to read again and remember.

    • There is still some good sci-fi out there. David Weber writes good stuff as well as John Ringo, when he’s not doing fantasy shit. Too much sci-fi is now written by SJWs which is why it is crap. If you haven’t read the Last Centurion by Ringo you need to. I just finished Indian Wars by Kurt Schlichter. A great read!

      • May I put in a word for a personal favorite, a fantasy classic from 1919, “Jurgen”, by James Branch Cabell. It’s about a middle-aged pawnbroker who is given an opportunity to revisit his youth through magical intervention, and hijinks ensue. Risque for its day, and also a parody of the institutions of the day, and perhaps most of all the author’s self-examination of what makes a man tick. Might be too meditative for some, but there’s a core of fans that love it. This book was very influential on writers to come; for example some bits of Robert Heinlein were openly tributes to Cabell.

  2. My wife has been after me to watch it – I’ve resisted up until now. Just watched the first two episodes of season one. Those are where your titties are on show. She says it tapers off after that, once the boobage was used to grab men’s attention. She says we are all pigs for that. So?

  3. I believe Emilia Clarke signed a contract that says she doesn’t have to show boobies anymore. I also heard the scene where Cersei (Lena Headey) walked naked through town used a body double.

But I have to admit I am a big GoT fan now.

  4. All the early pulp stuff was pretty good. Liked lots of Harlan Ellison and the first Cyber Punk, as well as most of Asimov’s work, but I can’t be bothered with most of today’s work. Even if I had a TV I doubt I’d be interested in GoT.
