I have a problem with this AntiFa bunch, primarily because they wear masks and embrace thuggery and intimidation as legitimate tactics to achieve their goals. Hard to trust guys who hide their faces while they’re doin their thing. REALLY hard to trust ‘em when they’re comin at ya with baseball bats and screamin.

Allegedly their main goal is to subdue or eradicate neo-Nazis, but they seem to be simply violent leftistas. They claim to be anti-racist, anti-white-supremacist, and anti-homophobe, but they act more like soldiers in a Mafia-like structure designed to promote socialist programs and oppose capitalism.

I could be wrong about all that, I suppose, but frankly I doubt that most who call themselves AntiFa can even define what Nazism is, and I don’t get the purpose of tossing objects, including bottles of human waste, at police.

The biggest noisemaker in this issue is the Southern Poverty Law Center, which considers any group which dares to have ideas different from its own a hate group, claims there are roughly 900 white supremacist groups in the US today. Many of them are aligning themselves with the White Lives Matter group, making membership counts very iffy.

Members of those groups tend to wander back and forth from one to another, and many groups have only around 20 members or so. The entire movement wouldn’t even show up on an X-Y graph of the US population. Personally I estimate the total number of active Nazis, Skinheads, Neo-Nazis, WLMs, and all the rest at maybe 10,000 or so, or no more than 1 out of every 25,000 people in the US.

The AntiFa goons seem to me to be the kind of brainwashed zealots who would arrest little kids for building only white snowmen or demand that Washington, D.C., be torn down because George was white and owned slaves.

Also, I can’t understand why many police organizations believe that promoting confrontations between right-wing demonstrators and masked or hooded thugs dressed in black and carrying weapons is an effective method of maintaining civic order and discipline.

White supremacists and KKK morons are as dangerous in my opinion as black supremacists and BLM. Freedom of expression is fine, but violence and destruction of property are not. Rioters, regardless of color or politics, need to be gassed, tazed, caned, and jailed . . . in that order. Then we need to get serious.

Why the hell are we allowing our national behavior to be determined and controlled by people who wear masks, tear things up, attack police, and have no alternate plan except to impeach a sitting PotUS and install a transgender black female welfare-mother socialist on food stamps in his place?

As far as I can tell, the total numbers of idiots involved in starting the riots and blocking the streets and disrupting the peace represent MAYBE .2 or .3% of the US adult population, both sides considered. Everybody else thinks they’re nuts. Many of them get involved just for the thrill of making noise and breaking things.

Sometimes it looks as if the people protesting Trump or white supremacy or capitalism consider healthy masculinity something like Elton John in a tutu, a good example of government is Venezuela, and a desirable PotUS cabinet to be The Village People.

I’m reasonably confident that every city in which these “First Amendment demonstrations” take place has laws and ordinances governing behavior, especially where weapons, explosives, fire, and human waste are concerned.

Looks to me like a helluva lotta people who oughta be in jail ain’t. Maybe we oughta lock up the mayors and chiefs of police for a while and let ‘em think things over. Pillories and stocks might be useful, too, not to mention tar and feathers.

I’ll tell you what happened Thunder Rodent Thighs. Karma finally caught up to one of the Clintons. Now if only the DOJ would investigate the Clinton Crime Family Foundation and throw the book at all three of the Clintons.

Irma passed through Atlanta on Monday. By the time it hit it was just a bad storm with rain and a lot of wind. It actually started blowing on Sunday, but the rain didn’t hit until Monday morning. And I don’t think we got the six inches that was forecast.

It rained and was windy all day Monday and then, at 4:00 PM, my power went out. No power, no internet and no posting. Since it was windy all night I knew it would be a while until I got my power back. Much to my surprise, my power came back on at 9:15. Looks like I won’t have to throw any food out from my refrigerator.

What was weird was how quiet it was last night outside of the wind and the rain. My house backs up against a fairly busy road. There is a berm to provide some privacy and help against the noise but it doesn’t do much good against the noise. There was hardly any traffic at all last night so no noise from the road. Looks like people listened to the authorities and stayed off the roads.

Howsa ’bout some Scottish hard rock? Here’s my favorite Nazareth song. Here’s my problem with one guitar bands. They rely on a lot of overdubbing in the studio. Then, when they play live they cannot replicate the sound. The producer really should have done a better job in overdubbing the lead guitar part on this cut. Led Zeppelin did some overdubbing on their first album like on Bring it on home. There is one part where Page adds a higher guitar part that sounds good when there are two guitars, but when he goes high without the low part when playing it live it sounds weird. That’s why I like two guitar bands. Less overdubbing.

This week the prestigious Asshole of the Week Award goes to Little Lindsey Graham (RINO,SC). Hey South Carolina, why don’t you elect a Republican senator instead of McRINO’s little mini-me. There must be a hole in Graham’s back where McRINO can stick his hand to manipulate Little Lindsey. Isn’t it great that Arizona has three senators who pretend to be Republicans?

Little Lindsey just showed he cares more for illegal aliens than he does for the Americans he is supposed to represent for coming out in support of DACA. Isn’t it nice that illegals get college admissions instead of Americans? Or hold jobs that Americans should be holding? I can understand Dimocrats supporting this because these are future Dimocrat voters but Republicans? Of course, Republicans prefer to be in the minority because then they can campaign on stuff they know will never get passed, like the repeal of Obummercare. Johnny McRINO campaigned on that, but then voted against it along with his fellow Dimocrats. He then said about Trump, “Let’s see him make America great now.” See, McRINO hates America just as much as the Dimocrats do.

These “Dreamers” are here illegally and should be sent home. As for weeping Schmuck Schumer calling this heartless, what is heartless is treating illegals better than Americans. You knew it was gonna happen. Hurricanes Irma and Harvey have finally (Finally!) proven the AGW crowd right. Or so they say. They told us that there would be more and more hurricanes. Wrong! In fact, over the last 12 years there have been less hurricanes. Now, they are telling us that Irma is the most powerful storm to ever hit the Atlantic Ocean. Wrong! More fake news. Here’s some info.

Describing Irma as the most powerful Atlantic hurricane ever recorded is like calling Ted Williams the all-time American league home run leader because he hit the most home runs at Fenway Park.

Among the 24 most intense Atlantic hurricanes since 1924, Irma is currently tied for second in wind speed.

Allen, in 1980 hit 190 mph.

And tied for 12th place according to atmospheric pressure:

Behind Wilma (2005 – 882 hPa), Rita (2005 – 895 hPa), and Katrina (2005 – 902 hPa). 2005 was a pretty bad year. Since then, no hurricane has been below 900 hPa. Irma is currently at 913 hPa.

The National Hurricane Center’s hurricane climatology page has a handy list of Atlantic Basin tropical storms, hurricanes and major hurricanes from 1851-2014. There is no statistically meaningful trend in hurricane frequency or severity.

I have already read at least two op-eds written by liberals saying Irma and Harvey are the result of man-made global warming and we must rejoin the Paris accords and institute a carbon tax. Unfortunately, if you look at the facts, which are anathema to liberals, you will find that most of this is bovine excrement. We are not getting more hurricanes but less. And they are not increasing in severity. These are all lies told by the Fake News Media to get us to cripple our economy.

By the way, we just had the mildest August here in Georgia since I moved here in 1985. Tonight we may set a record for the coldest temperature for this date. But that’s anecdotal the AGW acolytes claim. So is the stuff they are peddling about Irma.

Update: Every article I read in this morning’s Atlanta Urinal and Constipation said it is now “one of the worst storms”. I guess a lot of people must have called bullshit on their fake news.

Two things:

Kim Junk Un-hinged genuinely believes, I’m sure, that the US is a disorganized mob of depraved and decadent mixed-race dilettantes whom his elite, racially pure, brainwashed troops could wipe out on the battlefield without breaking a sweat. The extortionist Mongol thinks we’re capitalist mongrels.

As I mentioned a few days ago, Korea, especially the North, is extremely tribal and clannish, considering anyone not 100% Korean to be lower on the evolutionary ladder than they are. They fear the Chinese only because there are so damned many OF them, and they grudgingly respect the Japanese because they see Japan as an orderly and racially pure society patterned similarly to their own, even if something less than fully human.

Part of Kim’s bombast comes from his belief that we are so indecisive, cash-strapped, quarrelsome, and legislatively gridlocked that he could pre-emptively disable our systems while his conventional forces take out the South after a massive blitz on Seoul. IOW, he monitors our newscasts and believes that a few well-placed strategic hits would disable our command and control along with our ability to make timely crucial decisions while we’re arguing amongst ourselves.

Seems to me that if we could suppress the squabbling and present a unified society of 320 million disgusted and angry but far from cowering Americans like what happened after Pearl Harbor or the Twin Towers, the little overstuffed wad of enriched carbohydrates might rethink his blustery bombast, and it might cause some concern in Persia as well.

We’ve screwed around with this twerp long enough. He’s a MUCH bigger threat to the entire world than Sodom Insane ever was and needs to go . . . NOW . . . before he does something that either causes several million deaths in days or convinces Japan to upgrade its self-defense apparatus to include nukes and we’ll all be singing “We’ll Meet Again.”

Secondly, this DACA thing is very simple. First of all, what Obama did for the “dreamers” was not Constitutionally legal, and DJT is doing exactly the right thing by rescinding it with the stipulation that it’s the legislature’s job to fix it, not the executive’s.

I’ve heard Durban and Graham and several others harrumphing and handwringing about 860,000 “children” who will be evicted unless something is done. They also said that those hundreds of thousands of good, well-behaved, productive squatters are teachers and engineers and scientists who contribute greatly to our society. Well, how the hell can they be children if they’re engineers and teachers and doctors and all that?

Most of them are adults, and besides, they’ve had years now to apply for citizenship. So, here’s how I see it. Go ahead and oust ‘em. Make examples of ‘em. Sweep it clean with the new DJT broom. Why? O.K. I’ll tell ya –

Let ‘em go back and make MEXICO great. Let them apply the wonderful skills they allegedly have to make Mayheeko a powerful paradise which no one will want to abandon.

What that will do is dry up the flood of illegal immigrants, eliminating the need for “the wall” and reducing the numbers needed for border patrol, prison personnel, sheriffs’ deputies, ICE agents, judges, clerks, and so on. And those people whose jobs are downsized can laterally transfer into the jobs vacated by the evicted “dreamers.”
