There is no doubt that the number one asshole of the week is Stephen Paddock, the Las Vegas shooter but there are some dishonorable mentions.
Liz Phipps Soeiro a librarian at a Cambridge Taxachusettes public school who rejected a gift of Dr. Seuss books from Melania Trump because they were racist. Yeah. I’m sure. This woman was photographed a year earlier dressed up as The Cat in a Hat. Obviously, this was motivated by Trump hatred.
And then we have compassionate Hayley Geftman-Gold who was fired for saying Las Vegas victims didn’t deserve sympathy because they were prolly Republicans. Here is what she said on Facebook.
“If they wouldn’t do anything when children were murdered I have no hope that Repugs will ever do the right thing. I’m actually not even sympathetic bc country music fans often are Republican gun toters.”
Of course, I’m sure this is the mindset at CBS but I guess she didn’t thenk she was not allowed to say that publicly.
In the same vein, we had Crooked Cankles check in with a Twitter post saying that we shouldn’t politicize the event and then went on to do just that.
Our grief isn’t enough. We can and must put politics aside, stand up to the NRA, and work together to try to stop this from happening again.

And last but no least is the San Juan mayor, a Thunder Rodent Thighs supporter, who bashed Trump for his “lack of support” for Puerto Rico in an attempt to make Puerto Rico Trump’s Katrina. This is a woman who complained of no aid while standing in front of containers containing aid. She had time to have custom T-shirts made, but not time to attend any of the FEMA meetings. None! Even her fellow Puerto Rican politicians called her out on this bullshit. What a fucking hypocrite, but then, she is a Dimocrat and a supporter of Felonia von Pantsuit (stolen from Kurt Schlichter)
Way to go Paddock. You beat out a worthy crew of assholes.
Hell, if’n Paddock hadn’t snapped, it would’ve been a real dog fight between all them other shitheads for the honor this week. Any other time, each could’ve been a clear winner.

Well, jill, there’re times when I may’ve vented here in angst, even goin’ off topic. Denny’s been good enough to let me rant a bit, and there’ve been others here who’ve let ‘er rip. The great thing is that at those times I get so wound up that my mental voice is a’sputterin’ and a’stutterin’, Denny, Ron or somebody else here will say it much better than I ever could. That don’t mean that I still won’t open my mouth (keyboard) again and vent.
Democratic liberal hypocrisy on parade. Hillary is riding the wave of sympathy for the victims & blaming any gun owner to be responsible ,in particular NRA members for the shootings .

While I deplore the 59 people killed by the Deranged ISIS follower & the hundreds wounded …..there is no effective system of control to safeguard or protect innocent people from Liberal deranged nut cases.The truth is I have a more serious set of statistics which Cankles & the Democratic party ignores.
If the 59 killed is really the greatest mass shooting in the United States, here is where the train load of Hypocrites rushing to judgement jumped the tracks …..
1. There are at least 25 American cities with more then 59 murders
2. Chicago expects to end up this year with some 950 murders
3. The most dangerous city based on the murder rate 59.3 per 100,000 people is St Louis
4. This is Black on Black crime with both the shooter & victim being black.
5. None of the shooters are NRA Members
6.Little if any publicity for criminal murder rate by guns is ever published or reported by the lame stream media.
7. There may be a Conservative Republican or NRA member somewhere in society who might shoot some one without just cause……It is just none has ever been found.
8. The truth is all shooters to date have been liberal democrats , radical muslims or mentally defective
9. To date NO gun control law or restriction has been effective, in fact gun ownership & being licensed to carry has always reduced both crime & murder rates.
10. If being a radical leftest, intent on destroying America & a proven but unindicted felon …Hillary Clinton i a perfect example of who should be the target to prosecute for the good of this country & our survival as an independent free republic.
