Damn, it’s gotta be lonely and frustrating to hate something as much as Cher, Letterman, O’Donnell, Streisand, Moore, and countless others hate Trump.

Oh, and I ran across a quote somebody made about 30 years ago (can’t remember who it was) . . . still basically applicable today to the way the selective editing in the LSM treats PotUS: “You’re entitled to your own opinion, but not your own facts.”

Surprisingly (For a Dim-O) he also said, “The steady expansion of welfare programs can be taken as a measure of the steady disintegration of the Negro family structure over the past generation in the United States.” – AND – “At the heart of the deterioration of the fabric of the Negro society is the deterioration of the Negro family.” – AND – “The liberal left can be as rigid and destructive as any force in American life.”

First of all, the saying above is often attributed to former Sen. Daniel Patrick Moynihan, although the saying appeared in print in a small New Mexico newspaper in 1950, long before Moynihan came to prominence. That paper attributed it to the once-famous financier Bernard Baruch, who also gets credit on the website BrainyQuote, although without a source. Anyway, the spirit of the Moynihan/Baruch/whomever quote is likeable, but arguable.
That same, oft used quote was repeated as lately as a month ago by Sheriff David Clark of Milwaukee.
Just wanted ya’ to know that your memory is still working (As is mine, related to Moynihan) but, the history of the quote is a revelation to me.
Moynihan was a liberal Dimocrat but he was one of the few who spoke about what LBJ’s Great Fucking Society did to African people. The biggest problem in the African community is African boys being raised in fatherless families. Instead of a strong father role model their role models are pimps, drug dealers, obscenity spouting rappers, and semi-literate, tattooed, thuggish professional athletes. To show the stupidity of Africans, Baltimore named a recreational center after a convicted drug dealer, Freddie Gray because he died in police custody. Their “social inequality” is largely of their own making.
Since the Left has deconstructed the entire universe, thereby rendering facts worthless, all they are left with is the sorry little nub of “You’re Entitled.”
