Not really metal but a hit by a garage band back in the 60’s, ? and the Mysterians. I remember when the Iredell County was in Guam, our homeport, in 1968 a bunch of us would go over to a beer bar near the drydock (25 cent beer!) and this song played on the jukebox over and over.
Released in 1966 .. 17 then .. wonder at times where the last 50 years went. Looking at the current state of the world, wouldn’t trade that time for anything.
Not sure if it’s true or not but I had heard that that recording was actually done in their living room.
