Didja hear the latest? The NFL continues to cave and has just tried bribing the Kneegroes with $89 million for “social issues” and “communities”. So is this new money? Silly rabbit. Of course it isn’t. The NFL is stealing money from other NFL charities to bribe the Kneegroes.
The NFL’s $89 million pledge to fund social-justice causes comes at the expense of the league’s support for breast cancer and military charities, the protesting-player kneeling for the national anthem longer than any other active athlete claims.
“In the discussion that we had, Malcolm [Jenkins] conveyed to us—based on discussions that he had with the NFL—that the money would come from funds that are already allocated to breast cancer awareness and Salute to Service,” San Francisco 49ers safety Eric Reid told Slate. “So it would really be no skin off the owners’ backs: They would just move the money from those programs to this one.”
Reid’s disgust over the deal led to his resignation from the Players Coalition, a group started by Philadelphia Eagles safety Malcolm Jenkins and retired wide receiver Anquan Boldin. Reid departed from the group along with Miami Dolphins safety Michael Thomas, who, like Reid, continues to kneel for the national anthem.
Reid says Jenkins and the Players Coalition leadership went rogue in agreeing to a deal that did not receive the blessing of the group’s members. “We didn’t agree with that,” he told Slate, “because we weren’t trying to cut other worthy programs.”
So now there is another reason to hate the NFL. WTF is wrong with these booger eatin’ moh-rons? Most of the owners are billionaires. How did they make all this money with this example of blatant stupidity on display?
And if they think this bribery is gonna end the protests, they are even dumber than I thought. Appeasement never works. The Kneegroes are gonna keep kneeling and asking for even more concessions. After all, these people aren’t very bright. They can see the empty stands and they don’t realize that they are killing the business that is paying them huge amounts of money. I mean there is this level of stupidiy.
Olivier Vernon, New York Giants defensive end, caused a furor after he told NFL fans on Thursday if they don’t approve of his choice to kneel during the national anthem: “don’t come to the game”.
In his full statement, Vernon said:
“You hear ‘coward’ and ‘stand up’ and ‘disgrace’. It’s fine. As long as nobody comes on the field and touches me. You stay where you at, you’re going to be all right. They have a right. Oh yeah, I hear it all the time. If they don’t like it, don’t come to the game.”
Who does this guy thinks the money to pay his salary comes from? Like I said. Major league stupid. Fortunately for the Kneegroes Goodell and the owners are even dumber.
Meanwhile, it was another week of half empty stadiums and declining TV ratings. You’re doing a hulluva job Goodie. Bribing the players isn’t gonna work and when the fans find out where the bribery money is coming from it’s gonna piss them off even more.
They’ll just raise the price of soda to $10 and beer to $15. Problem solved.

I can’t wait for the NFL to try to explain away the lowest ratings for Super Bowl viewership since they had high school bands playing at halftime .
I rather watch a high school band than the total shit they have at half time for the last 20 years or more. Of course, I haven’t watched half time in at least 10 years…because it is shit and I havent watched the Super Bowl nor the NFL in 3 or 4 years. All it is is commercial marathons. Now is crap….arrgh. I cant wait for these asshole to go broke.
Well, I have a feelin’ that it’s now too late. Since the word is out that the owners were willin’ to take money from one group and give it to another, I guess all them wimmens who sucked up to the NFL for breast cancer money will have to boycott. And for all the NFL talk about supporting the troops, we now see how shallow that is. Can somebody organize a kneel-down demonstration in Michael Sam’s name for recognition of the NFLGBTQWXYZ?
I think back to that old fable of the killing the Goose that laid the golden eggs. I see nothing has changed since that time. The sport of football is in decline and one day may very well be either gone or greatly diminished. I imagine the players like the owners will point fingers and blame someone else for their own stupidity for ruining this sport. To bad, at one time I liked the game. Now, after this forget it.

If Goodell thinks attendance figures suck now, wait until this year’s season ticket holders decline to renew.
And this agreement in no ways requires the kneegrows to stop kneeling.

Last Thursday the Cowboys / Redskins game had an announced attendance of just over 91K (FoxSports box score). AT&T Stadium has a published capacity for football at 80K. Photos taken during the game show approximately one-third of the seats empty.
The NFL is whistling past the graveyard and hoping you don’t notice.
The union is buying up the tickets since the count is based on tickets and not attendance.

The kneelers have accelerated a growing problem with the NFL, which is that the game is becoming a spectacle worthy of the WWF. Bogus unnecessary roughness calls, and bogus pass interference calls have made the refs as vital to the outcome as they are in pro rasslin.
The ones who continue to go to the games, buy the swag, support the advertisers, are dumber than the players and the owners and Goodell. That is how they made money. I gave up NFL, NBA, MLB and NCAA. years ago. The colleges are nothing but training grounds for leftists and recruit afleets who don’t belong there by promising them a free ride and all the White girls they can handle. The reality check will come when the next NFL team is up for sale.
