Looks like the Dimocrats have been looking at polls and are afraid Al Franken is gonna drag them down in the midterms. Dimocrat Senators are turning on Franken.
UPDATE: NINE senators on Wednesday called on fellow Democrat Al Franken to resign, in a jaw-dropping avalanche of statements addressing the latest allegations against the Minnesota senator.
Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand kicked things off, publishing a post on Facebook aptly titled “Senator Franken Should Step Aside” (read here). Democratic Sens. Mazie Hirono of Hawaii, Claire McCaskill of Missouri, Maggie Hassan of New Hampshire, Patty Murray of Washington, Kamala Harris of California, Bob Casey of Pennsylvania, Tammy Baldwin of Wisconsin, and Sherrod Brown of Ohio all followed suit.
McCaskill is up for reelection in Missouri next year, a state Trump run. She’s not gonna have the luxury of opposing Todd Akin this time.
This comes on the heels of yet another woman coming forward with allegations of sexual misconduct against Franken, which he has denied as “categorically not true.”
Gillibrand’s Facebook statement says that while she has considered Franken a friend, “this moment of reckoning about our friends and colleagues who have been accused of sexual misconduct is necessary, and it is painful.”

I sure hope he steps down. He’s a real embarrassment for Minnesota. Hopefully some of our liberal voters will finally get the message about who they are really voting into office.
Schadebboner time here boss! I find the irony is so thick you could
cut with a knife. I take all kinds of pleasure over the fact that the
left is in complete and total nuclear meltdown. But nothing amuses
me more than seeing Democrat politicians, their wealthy donors, the
Glitterati and even the lefts kept whores in the media being eaten by
the PC monster they created!
All the while we men were being lectured by the left regarding sexism,
misygony, sexual assault and harassment, rape and male priviledge,
they were engaging in the very behavor they accused us of. Not only
that, they also ignored the gropers and perverts in their midst. Everybody
knew what was going on and said nothing. It is like the big secret about
Rock Hudson being gay which was one of the most widely known secrets
in America.
It is now up to 16 Democrat Senators calling for Franken to resign. Half are females and half are males. And to top it off, the Chairman of the Democrat National Party just tweeted that Franken should resign. I think this is now a done deal, especially since the governor of Minnesota is a Democrat and he will assign another Democrat to take that seat upon Franken’s resignation.
