So with the defeat of Roy Moore the Dimocrats are backtracking on their calls for creepy Al Franken to resign. From Politico.
At least four senators are urging Al Franken to reconsider resigning, including two who issued statements calling for the resignation two weeks ago and said they now feel remorse over what they feel was a rush to judgment.
Sen. Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.), who urged Franken not to step down to begin with — at least not before he went through an Ethics Committee investigation — said the Minnesota senator was railroaded by fellow Democrats.
“What they did to Al was atrocious, the Democrats,” said West Virginia Sen. Joe Manchin in an interview for POLITICO’s Off Message podcast to post on Tuesday.
Yeah. They’re only supposed to do that crap to Republicans. They’re supposed to circle the wagons and support sexual molesters like Franken and BJ Clinton.
Franken’s unusual timeline — in his departure announcement he said he’d go “in the coming weeks,” without setting a date — has fed the fleeting hopes that there’s still time to reverse course. However, Tina Smith, Minnesota’s Democratic lieutenant governor, was named last week as his appointed successor.
People familiar with Franken’s plans said he has not changed his mind and intends to formally resign in early January. He praised the selection of Smith and has begun working with her on the transition.
Yeah, we’ll see if that happens. Remember Franken is a Dimocrat and Dimocrats always lie. For myself, I hope Franken stays. I really really do.
Try explaining to black voters how they ran Conyers out of the House but kept Franken in the Senate. I really really want to see that.
Also point out the hypocrisy of how Dimocrats protect white Dimocrat sexual harassers like BJ and Al next election. The campaign ads write themselves.

Next November, the Republican party has a 2-1 advantage in the Senate.
This gets much worse when you consider the Democrats in many of these
seats won by 49 to 55 points in states that Trump won handily!
If Trump manages to push up economic growth rates to 4 percent by next
November, the Marxists will in deep Kimchee. If the rate is 5+ percent in
2020, you are going to see the death throes of the Democrat party!

Leonard – You’re assuming the Stupid Party doesn’t fuck up, which it will. Remember the Dimocrats control the Fake News Media which continues to hammer Trump. Even with the stock market setting records and the economy going better than it has in over 8 years, Trump’s approval ratings are still in the low 40’s. Also, let’s not forget voter fraud. That’s how Franken was elected to his first term. Now, it looks like there was voter fraud in Alabama. I’m sure there was massive voter fraud in California during the presidential election which is one reason Crooked Cankles was able to win the popular vote. Thank you Electoral College!

One reason Franken might resign is that it may help the Dem’s in MN. The MN Gov, democrat, appointed the Lt. Gov to replace Franken, which means the head of the state senate becomes the Lt. Gov. She is a republican and according to some can’t hold both positions, so she might lose her seat to a democrat. The slight majority the republican’s hold in the state senate might slip away. All very complicated and a State Supreme court battle is shaping up.
