I am so happy that I am almost off my opioids and can drink again!
Heading back to Columbia tomorrow.

Warm Shook-up PBR

Good!!
We are at the top of the food chain and we eat pretty well!
We earned it.
All the best.
For breakfast I had a roll in bed with honey, and lunch was a PBJ and a glass of milk
Glad to hear you’re enjoyin’ the trip, Denny. Ain’t it a shame that some folks can’t give up the drugs so they can take advantage of the good things in life?
Are you sure that was lunch and not just the menu?
Did you have a problem giving up opioids? So good you can enjoy wines again.
I’m still working on it. I went off the hydrocodone with no problems whatsoever. The methadone I’m doing a little at a time so I have no withdrawal problems. I’ve gone from 40 mg a day to 15 mg a day. As my body became accustomed to them, they quit working for the pain which is why I’m going off of them. I also had the paradox problem where they kept me awake and I have had problems sleeping at night. I expect to be completely off the methadone in another three months.
Way to go, sir.
You’re a strong and brave man, Denny. You must still have some acute pain, at times. What could you take for pain now that those prescriptions have stopped working?
I’m currently taking gabapentin, oxcarbazapine, and venlafaxin for the pain. I’m in pain all the time. Don’t know what the plan is when I’m off the methadone. I’m thinking of trying acupuncture.
I ate there last week and had the Arkansas surf and turf………. twp hot dogs and a fish stick with mac and cheese on the side.
