Made It!

Another successful trip across country from Atlanta to Snowmass. First night we stopped at Independence Missouri. The second night, we stopped at Denver. Drove up to Snowmass this morning. There was an accident on I-70 near Georgetown but my sister checked Google Maps and we were able to get off I-70 and bypass the jam. Saved a lot of tine.

We knew where there was a Walmart in Glenwood Springs and we stopped there to get my breakfast bananas and some power bars. Alas, they no longer stock fresh produce so we had to stop somewhere else. Bummer.

Saw my instructor so we’re good to go for tomorrow.

  1. Thanks for your post. I must be getting old. I always worry now when friends are traveling. Glad it went well. Hope you have good weather for the skiing.

  2. Snow was OK (not grea but certainly better than Atlanta ;)) in Breckenridge week before last and snowing hard when we had to leave on Sunday. Spoke to several people who said it wasn’t good in Aspen or Vail. Will be interested to hear how Snowmass had it.

Enjoy the trip no matter what!

  3. I am sure that all the Denizens would rather have you back in one happy piece, than to learn that you were trying to outdo Evil Knievel. Life is usually a balancing act! Enjoy the snow. ( Here it was 104 on the weekend – and not a snowflake in sight: mutter, mutter, envy, envy) !
