Kinda hard to believe this is the same guy who does Life is a Highway.

This is a good pick because even though the guy’s a little nerdy and it’s kind of dated stylistically it’s a very strong song that kicks ass. I would like to see a respectable heavy metal band do a version of it.
My God, I never realized they were so over production. That dude sounds like shit as the rest of it live. That cut was HUGE in the 80s down in Florida. Miami Vice made this tune, unfortunately, the group couldn’t carry it if they had a bucket.
This is early Tom Cochrane and (Red Rider)… do yourselves a favour and look up some of his later 80’s/early 90’s stuff if you want a more polished act.
He put out some damned good music.

I liked the song a lot more before I saw this video.
I remember the tune being used in a late-night animated sci-fi cartoon.
