Unfortunately it now looks like the Dummies are taking over the House, but at the current pace it looks like the Good Guys are going to gain 3-4 seats in the Senate. Now we just need RBG to croak within the next 2 years (preferably in the next few months). Then we will have at least 30 more years of rock solid Conservative majority running the SCOTUS. This is far more important for the future of the Good Ol’ US of A than anything else because our sacred Constitution will no longer be looked upon by the Dimwits as simply a piece of old paper that is subject to erase, delete and change at their free will.

The Donks front-loaded their assault in Michigan, with legalized recreational marijuana use and a pair of other pro-liberal ballot issues helping Motor Voter nonsense and a way to gerrymander to their hearts’ content.
It did NOT help that two different national GOP types misstated the black candidate for Senate’s name, calling him Don and not John James. Media blackout on him being black was almost totally a spirit of implied Uncle Tomism, though surprisingly his white wife was not an issue out in public anyway.
In MIchigan, the GOP lost heavily except at the minor House level (and even then a Detroit muslim parlayed her all-black state representative job into one of two muslim women in Congress). This isn’t much of a stretch to say Rashida Tlaib is a dangerously effective liberal. She ten times as effective as Ellison, without his baggage.
Justin Amash survived, as did the GOP incumbent representing our entire Upper Peninsula. The RINO trash Upton squeaked through, but on the even-more-down-side, Dumpy Debbie Stabenow remains in office and one GOP-favored judge got bounced (the black guy). and here in Burntmattress, Michigan it was an astonishing 20-minute wait to cast ballots. (The norm is five.) The good news? More than one parent brought their child to see what voting is all about.
But the Senate remains, for two years in which at least one more Supreme Court justice will be named. Maybe more; Kavanaugh could always do us all a favor and suffocate that hag Ginsburg, or drag her into the men’s room for a ten-minute swirlie.
It needs mentioning that Rick Snyder effectively campaigned with Gretchen Whittmer for governor, just like his goddamn RINO mentor Bill Milliken did for Jim Blanchard in 1982.
Bottom line, Michigan shit the bed. Lost it all. Radical far-Left lesbian as AG, a Lefty female SoS with ties to 2010 election fraud, and two shitlib females on SCOMI (Clement, a Snyder appointment who is responsible for Prop 18-2 -redistricting commission- being on the ballot), while ousting the conservative black justice.

If you smoke it and get into a vehicle/motorcycle/ORV/boat/PWC/snowmobile crash which causes harm, and LEO decides to draw blood, well, now you just earned yourself a DUI on top of the charges for causing harm. Michigan is a Zero Tolerance state.
Medical MJ patients with a state issued card do operate under ‘Per si’ law, which grants them limited immunity from a DUI conviction, however, being in possession of the card itself just disqualified you from purchasing a firearm when filling out ATF Form 4473.
So, in other words, it just isn’t worth it to me to fuck around with weed.
I agree with the general statements regarding operating motor vehicles, gun handling and the like. But after months of pro-and-con debates it now is clear there is a genuine need for medical marijuana.
Weed for stoners? Not so much. Too many elderly people who were referred by non-quack physicians to enroll in the program now rely on pain relief. A different mentality was required and the state recognized it. Now they’ve cheapened it. But it took the little snowflakes to the polls and screwed us taxationally FOREVER, but hey, that’s Michigan. I went to bed when Fox lowered the probability of Dem house from 85 to 56% and guessed ole “MOE – MENTUM” would continue. Guessed wrong. I shudder at the thought of Speaker Blinky again.
