Michelle Obama felt “the shadow of affirmative action” as an undergraduate student at Princeton University, the former first lady writes in her new book, Becoming.
Obama, who graduated in 1985, says she sometimes wondered why she had been accepted into Princeton, a majority-white school, in the first place. “It was impossible to be a black kid at a mostly white school and not feel the shadow of affirmative action,” Obama writes. “You could almost read the scrutiny in the gaze of certain students and even some professors, as if they wanted to say, ‘I know why you’re here.'” This was often “demoralizing,” Obama says, while acknowledging she “was just imagining some of it.”
Actually Moochelle you prolly weren’t imagining it. The only reason you were at Princeton was because of affirmative action and you should be grateful for your Ivy League education but you aren’t because you hate America and white people.
It had it made by being more than black. It was/is a drag queen.
Then let’s abolish affirmative action. Is that her point?

It would have gotten me a C- ( at best ! ) in my high school Civics class , but, thanks to the magic of Affirmative Action , skin color is more important than academic distinction – ESPECIALLY in the Ivy League .
Had the Mooch been white, she would have been lucky to get into community college .

The Professors knew for darn sure why she was there, they saw her work. They also knew that if they did not give her good grades that it would hurt their careers not hers.
It should have been demoralizing. When she looked into the faces of her fellow students, she knew they were her betters. How many of them knew they had an inferior in their ranks, some one who had she been another white would have been relegated to the duties of picking trash from the lawns and gutters?
I’m not so sure her profs at Princeton would have been demoralized, but rather were ecstatic to have her there. Princeton has never been a bastion of conservative instructors.
HI, I did not mean the professors should be demoralized, but that the Sasquatch should have been. I’m sure some of them acted ecstatic to have her, the truth though is they are mostly typical liberals who see blacks as inferior types who need affirmative action so they can have a chance.
Not a chance to succeed, but a chance to be promoted above their level of knowledge and competence and thus be viewed in the board rooms as examples of why blacks cannot be successful in business.
When I was employed in manufacturing, management promoted a black to foreman. The guy was a drunk who would sneak bottles of cheap whiskey into the plant, hide them and sneak drinks all through the shift.
We also had three blacks in the running who had been senior NCOs in the military and were more than competent. All three had natural leadership skills. None were ever advanced in the rounds of selection past the first interview.
As to the drunk, one night another guy found the booze. When the BFM went into the men’s room, other guy motioned me to come over, and we stepped in.
The conversation between us went like this,
Joe, ” I found a bottle of whiskey hidden back in the warehouse at the start of shift.
me, “really, did you report it to the foreman?
Joe, “naw, I know it’s Bill from third shift’s bottle, so I emptied half of it down the drain then pissed in it.”
About two seconds later BFM who was in the stall puked his guts out.
Joe and I quickly exited. later he said the reaction was so good he wished he’d actually pissed in the bottle.
Company sent the black foreman to alcohol rehab three times.
What’s most upsetting is her media fawns lap up her bullshit like it was honey from heaven. Ignorance is one thing. Embracing ignorance is another.
Yep. Right on. Pisses me off. This country is really into rewarding bums and neer-do-wells at the expense of working and intelligent people. This country is in deep shit.
There’s no dealing with them. I remember how they marched for school desegregation, now to hear some talk, they want black only schools, dorms and graduations. Blacks will never be happy as long as whites and Asians exist, because we highlight their shortcomings.
On the flip side, blacks aren’t going to be funding their own rims & weaves, that money has to come from some where.
