Ron rants on the spoiled little brat.
Got carried away this mornin . . . full-blown rant:
Those old dudes who wrote the operating instructions for this sand-in-the-gears republic included in its very first amendment a clearly worded commandment protecting freedom of speech and freedom of the press.
Their intent was for journalists and patriots to perform as a sort of social force to explain complex issues and expose dirty laundry to the people. The news media would, in their eyes, be a kind of 4th estate, one with the freedom to bark like a watchdog and warn the people when the powerful other estates, namely the clergy, the politicians, and the rich, strayed outside the perimeters established in the Constitution.
It was supposed to be a safeguard, an advocate for the people, a bellwether of calamity, and a harbinger of change. But today, it’s morphed into a snotty little two-year-old who found a hammer and quickly discovered that the Trump administration is a convenient nail.
And like all two-year-olds, when chided by the sarcastic adult in the room, it flew into a tantrum when called out for making up stories, telling only half-truths, and throwing “He did it!”s all over the place.
And again – like a two-year-old going on twenty-two – it has stretched the adults’ patience and wiped out its own credibility with its exaggerations, its accusations, its selfishness.
Apparently CNN (the Counterfeit News Narcissists, or the propagandamachinerie of the Democrat Party) has abandoned all association with reality and donned the scarlet robes of Outrage and Victimhood.
All dressed up for their little cosplay, they now can throw words around with impunity, make any accusation they like, fret and strut their hour upon the stage in full sound and fury, accomplishing nothing except snorts of contempt and sighs of disgust from paying customers who see what they’re up to.
Their Chief Antagonist, little Jimmy Acosta, took the spotlight with his recent “Me! Me! ME!! It’s All About ME-E-E-E!!” at a press conference, rudely and childishly refusing to relinquish the mike or stifle his single-issue babble when the most powerful leader in the world told him to shut the hell up.
So PotUS told him to “go sit in the car and don’t honk the horn” until we say it’s all right for him to come back into the house. His cut men, trainers, and managers, instead of throwing in the towel, lauded him for his courage, officially announcing their disregard for traditional rules of behavior and for his fellow “journalists” who were waiting for their turn to attack the President on some skewed misinterpretation of fact.
Their approval of his behavior prompted this response from the White House:
“The fact that CNN is proud of the way their employee behaved is not only disgusting, it‘s an example of their outrageous disregard for everyone, including young women, who work in this Administration.
As a result of today’s incident, the White House is suspending the hard pass of the reporter involved until further notice.” – Sarah Sanders
CNN then counterpunched with a lawsuit against Trump for pulling Acosta’s press credentials ( according to Sam Donaldson, who reported their intent and said he’s been asked to provide an affidavit about the incident).
Now . . . I’ve watched the clip of the intern trying to get the mike away from Acosta and can’t see how he can be accused of anything other than rudeness. He didn’t attack her, and the case for his “laying hands on her” is flimsy at best, more like incidental.
But his behavior was inarguably childish, selfish, and downright bad-mannered, especially in THAT forum, and that’s enough reason for me for Daddy to send him to bed without any dessert.
What troubles me most about the whole affair is that it points out the addiction our society has for litigation whenever something happens that somebody with money and/or power doesn’t particularly like.
What exactly is CNN suing for? Who has authority for issuing press credentials for White House briefings . . . or better yet, who has the authority for yanking them when some self-appointed Robespierre, or Thomas a Becket, decides that he and he alone has the wisdom and the duty to assess and condemn presidential decisions?
And while I’m on the subject, what in the name of Fletcher’s Farkle is wrong with the Dems and their latest “Let’s Go Full Gridlock!!!” burble?
Hey, guys . . . call in the dogs – and the last person out of the well please turn out the lights.
So, Ron, you’re sayin’ that CNN and Acosta are actin’ like the kid who says to Mom, “It all started when he hit me back!”
No, that’s what Avenatti told the judge yesterday.

🤣
It’s an honor to be invited to The White House, not a right. IMO Acosta’s pass should have been pulled a long time ago. His questions always seem to contain an element of accusation; in a court of law it would be called “leading.”
It’s funny most of the media still can’t believe the Hildebeast lost.
that was good Ron An informed electorate,is important.
not a fake/false informed,nation
Ron ….as I posted the other day , we are in the middle of a de-evolution & while the Republican Party has been know as the Stupid Party ….The Democrats are fast becoming the Really Stupid Party which covers not only politicians but the Main Stream Media as well & anybody who votes for them.
Sorry, the GOP retains the heavyweight belt as the Really Stupid Party.

Howdy Alpha …..Never said there was not a plethora of Stupid Republicans but for sure the Democrats are on track to eclipse the Republicans as RINO`S are defeated or grow a set of balls & the Far Left Democrats continue their left wing track.
Respectfully, I just don’t see it that way. Case in point: Martha McSally. She is a NeverTrumper, which took out a good Republican candidate (Dr. Kelli Ward) in the primary. McSally didn’t give a damn if she won that election or not against code-pink’s Kyrsten Sinema.
Bottom line- Cuckservatism Inc., is alive and well in the D.C. Swamp. Think not?

RINO’s aren’t being defeated- it’s a revolving door.
Hey Denny;
When a reporter is at the peoples house, they are expected to behave. I remember when Obungler did the same thing and there were crickets from the media because Obungler did it to a FoxNews reporter. But now that Trump banned a CNN reporter, the media is up in arms about it.
Do you think the White House will buy some new microphones that will allow them to turn them on/off remotely?
Sure Mr Acosta, you keep that one, we’ll just turn it off and use another one…
