Schadenboner Time
Online news services are getting hit hard. Buzz Feed is laying off 15% of its workforce. Schadenboner. Boing!
Puffington Host just laid off its entire opinion section. You mean there is part of the Puffington Host that isn’t opinion. Anyhoo, schadenboner. Boing!
I loved this tweet.
While reporting today about federal workers who can't afford tampons, I was laid off from HuffPost. If there's anything I can say after 7 years, it's that I will finish the story. (Also if you're looking to hire a reporter to cover poverty and inequality, I'm available)

Omigawd! The humanity! Now federal workers can’t afford tampons. Hey lady, it’s now the Blinky Shutdown so it’s her fault that federal workers “can’t afford tampons”. Schadenboner. Boing!
And more bad news!
Newspapers are still shedding on average 1,000 jobs per month – more than mining, steel, fishing and all the beleaguered industries politicians talk about.
The news industry – in all formats – is in crisis. We need sustainable business models for journalism https://t.co/OJccQf7L2f

To which I retweeted.
Here's an idea. Why not try practicing real journalism instead of being propagandists for the Dimocrat Party. https://t.co/phYmvzxDEe

Schadenboner. Boing!
I hope when the Covington kids’ lawyer gets done, there will be a lot more layoffs in the Fake News Media. The only way to stop the digital lynching of Christians and conservatives is to make the lynchers pay and pay bigly.
Now that would give me a big ol’ schadenboner. Boing!
