One of my readers sent me this.
Kris Kobach says President Trump can stop mass illegal immigration and asylum fraud, as well as boost the American economy, by unilaterally ending all remittances to Mexico.
In an exclusive interview with Breitbart News Tonight, Kobach said Trump should replace his prolonged threat to Mexico — where he said he will wait a year before he puts pressure on the country — with an executive regulation that threatens to end all remittances by illegal aliens in the U.S. back to Mexico.
The threat to end remittances, Kobach detailed, can be used to force Mexico into an agreement with the U.S. that bans Central American nationals from passing through Mexico to get to the U.S. to claim asylum despite Mexico having a robust asylum system. The policy, Kobach said, would ensure that Central Americans claim asylum in the first eligible country they travel to.
Mexico receives more money from remittances than it does from oil revenue. Kobach sez:
“The threat I propose is one that actually helps us if we follow through on it. That is the threat of ending remittances from the majority of people in the United States from Mexico who are here illegally. That is a threat that we could carry through on that actually helps our economy because the money is not sent home, it stays in circulation in the U.S. economy and helps rev up our economy. It’s actually a good thing if we follow through.”
I don’t know if we could stop the remittances or not, but I do know that we could tax them. I’ve been advocating for this for a long time. Tax any Western Union wire transfer from the United States to Mexico. Make it 20%. The money raised could pay for the wall. That would make Mexico pay for it. Of course, there would be attempts at circumvention and currency smuggling at the border, therefore, any amount of currency above a set amount discovered by customs crossing into Mexico would be confiscated.
It’s high time we quit supporting Mexico by allowing illegals to send vast amounts of money home.
Yep. And ending remittances is a great idea. And do it NOW. Of course, the snowflakes would piss and moan about that action, but who cares?
Right on man, but when does the hammer fall on the streetshitting bipty’s and, dog eating chink’s combined $26.1 Billion dollars: https://howmuch.net/articles/outgoing-remittances-from-usa
Theres a LOT of things Trump could do and SHOULD have done already to
address the issue of illegals invaders and illegals in America. The fact that he
hasn’t done them is ample evidence that he’s just blowing hot air. He’s done
some good for America jobs wise but regarding everything else? Mostly just
noise and hot air. And his “bumpstock ban” is PROOF that when he refers to
our “Second Amendment Rights” he’s just another lying politician.
Let the feds reclaim the millions of dollars sent offshore by the Southern Poverty Law Center. https://freebeacon.com/issues/southern-poverty-law-center-transfers-millions-in-cash-to-offshore-entities/
Force the conservative-haters to pay for the wall — THAT is justice.
Don’t limit the tax to Mexico. Add all the Central American countries that are sending people, plus China, and the Brits if the rumors of their involvement in the dossier prove true.
Now you’re talkin’!
The Blaze is having a special tonight that exposes the one address in Chicago that all these marxist fucksticks in Central & South America are corresponding with.
I wonder who it will be…..
We not only need to end remittances but end all welfare benefits to illegals, including food stamps, wick, medicaid, chip dental, free healthcare, rental assistance, free public schools, child tax credits, birth right citizenship, etc, etc. Without these incentives there would be much less desire to enter illegally. Also we need to E-verify all employees, not only at hiring but also routinely there after. And for, Pete’s sake, check ID’s when voting.
If we did these things, I think we would see self deportations of many illegals.
As an Anglo I lived in Mexico for 7 years. You can’t come away without some strong impressions.
** Mexicans don’t much like Gringos. You say you don’t agree? Well, go down there without money and see if you feel any love.
** The Mexican government has few, if any, safety nets for its citizens. So who can blame them if they see the U.S. as a gigantic ATM machine from which they can make withdrawals and not make any deposits?
** Mexico has much more stringent immigration rules than we do. They won’t put up with a lot of shiftless Gringos going down there and living off their backs (if that is possible). They’d kick you out in a heartbeat, after they took whatever money you had on you.
** Mexican leaders, no doubt, meet behind closed doors and high five each other while discussing how to force their unwanted on the Gringos. It makes their beers that much colder.
** Mexican government is much more corrupt than ours (I know, hard to believe). It caters mostly to the tiny upper class at the expense of the small middle class and huge lower class. Their officials are counting on the U.S. taxpayer to support one out of 7 of their workers so they won’t have to. They also count on the American liberal politicians to support this policy.
** We pay billions of dollars every year to support these illegals, who are basically parasites in our society. We can no longer afford this since we are $21 + trillion in the hole; not to mention the fact that they are ignoring our laws.
** What makes them so special that they cut in front of the line of people who are legitimately waiting to get in our country?
** Being “uninvited guests” is no way to go through life. Mexicans in this country illegally should return to Mexico and change it so they can live, love, and prosper in their own mother land.
** We should present Mexico with a bill and demand prompt payment. You say they won’t pay? Fine, no more U.S. tourists allowed down there until they pay up. Mexicans despise weakness and respond to strength. It’s time we quit being Uncle Sap.
Pretty much every country has stronger immigration laws than the U.S. This is an invasion which is an act of war, we need to treat it as such.
