Far left Dimocrats in Congress (and RINO Amash) are pushing for the impeachment of Trump. There will be a meeting of the Dimocrat caucus Wednesday morning where they will be pushing Speaker Blinky towards impeachment. Will the Dimocrats cross this Rubicon and start impeachment proceedings?
Oh please, please make this happen. The Dimocrat controlled House is already a circus with Jerry the Hut, Elijah Bullfrog Cummings, and Adam Shitt running amok. All we need now is impeachment proceedings to convince the American people they made a big mistake in voting for Dimocrats in the last election.
This is no surprise. Conservatives warned the American people this would happen but they were once again hoodwinked by “moderate” Dimocrats who said they wouldn’t vote for Blinky for Speaker. It wouldn’t matter! Voting for Dimocrats was voting for Blinky as Speaker, Mad Maxipad as chairman of the House Finance Committee, Bullfrog as chair of the House Oversight and Reform Committee, Jerry the Hut as chairman of the House Judicial Committee, and Adam Shitt as chairman of the House Intelligence Committee. Voting for Dimocrats put the crazies in charge.
Americans should have learned from the last time they put Dimocrats in charge when we got Obumercare. That time Dimocrats ran to the right of a bunch of Republicans when the Republicans spent like Dimocrats and the Dimocrats promised fiscal responsibility. That will be the day. They passed a pay as you go bill and immediately ignored it.
After Obungler was elected, they rammed through Obummercare and a bogus stimulus plan for shovel ready infrastructure projects. Unfortunately, there weren’t any shovel ready projects and the money was wasted. Instead we got failed green energy companies like Solyndra. AOC and her merry band of Green New Deal acolytes want to give us more of the same.
Blinky may have lost control of her caucus to the likes of rocket scientist AOC who prolly think the Amish support impeachment. (Insert your own AOC joke here.)
The Dimocrats refuse to accept the results of the 2016 election and have been throwing a temper tantrum ever since. The Mueller probe turned up nothing so now they’re trying to get Trump on obstruction of justice. I guess that’s what they’ll try to hang their impeachment hopes on. Good luck with that. There was no collusion and there was no obstruction.
So for the next year, the American people will see the Dimocrat accomplish nothing but meddlesome hearings and an impeachment trial that may impeach Trump but will cost them the House in 2020 and will prolly get Trump elected in a landslide.

They will spout their bilge, say stupid stuff, spin up twenty percent of the voting public and end up with nothing to show for it except four more years of screaming at the sky.

They don’t need two-thirds of the house, just half for impeachment. It’s two-thirds of the Senate they need. Impeaching and conviction of a president is very difficult. Billy Bob’s wasn’t even close but Andrew Johnson’s was within one vote in the Senate. Remember the Repubs run the Senate and they will never vote on the impeachment issue. They have impeached and convicted judges which can also be done to remove from the bench. Last one was Alcee Hastings who is now in the House. If the Rats get enough votes in the House and Senate in the future, they will go wild removing judges in this manner. Start with Kavanaugh then to Gorsuch. Two SC judges they feel were their selections because Trump nominated them and it should have been the Bitch. If Trump is impeached, it will be the ultimate dog and pony show with the crooked media leading the way. Non stop wall to wall 24/7 coverage.
Delight in their self-inflicted misery. They’ve wound themselves into frenzies over a man who actually tried to honor his campaign promises instead of being a leftist shrugging off lies because their acolytes never expected the truth anyway.
Speaking of truth, that brings up fake news and the clowns who peddle it, either in actual journalism or on TV portraying news people. Actor Jeff Daniels (another Michiganian) says there’s a “real threat” Trump might be reelected. Damn! Ain’t it grand to get the news ahead of the news?!?
I’m kinda lookin’ forward to the fringe Lefties pushin’ this. If it comes to a vote in the House, my guess is that they won’t be able to herd all the cats on their side of the aisle to go along and that’ll isolate AOC and her ilk. Just imagine the internal squabbling. You know that San Franfreako will send Fancypants Nan back to DC in ’20. All that’ll do is set up another circular firing squad on the Dims side of the chambers and they’ll be so busy snipin’ at each other that there’ll be no time for ’em to obstruct DJT, who’ll most likely be back for another term.
This is all predicated on the idea that the Lefties are able to maintain their House majority. If’n they lose that, I expect ’em to to have as much effect as Christians in the Coliseum, sorta good for entertainment value and not much else.

Amash once had financial backing from Betsy DeVos’s family, out in the Grand Rapids area. They’re among a handful of truly powerful GOP families in this state — and now they’ve tossed Amash to the curb. He also now has a primary challenger. Time shall tell.

You may be right, Denny, but I’m thinkin’ that as the election gets closer and Trump looks to be gallopin’ towards another term, some of the Dims who’re on shaky ground in their districts might put self-preservation above Party and waffle a bit.
Guys, you are more confident than I am. Most of my old work friends (state social workers) and relatives are staunch “orange man bad” democrats. Hell, some of them think Republicans are threatened by occasional-cortex. This group has drunk so much kool-aid they still believe any silly thing their masters spout and will vote for whatever knucklehead they are offers as the democratic candidate. They still think that they are the smart ones.
