More Fake News
Did anyone watch the clown show last night? I didn’t. Trump said it was boring. What do you expect when you have cheerleaders asking the questions. I would imagine it would be Lizzie and the nine little Indians and from what I read, it was. Tonight it will prolly be The Bernie, Joe, and Buttplug Show.
But that’s not the Fake News I’m talking about. Didja see the sob story about the man and his daughter who died swimming across the Rio Grande? They even had a staged photo to go along with the sad story. I wonder how long it took the photographer to get the dead man and his daughter into the right pose to elicit the most tears from those seeing the photo?
Boo freaking hoo!
The first version I heard of this story was that the man and his family were seeking asylum and grew impatient with the process and decided to enter the country illegally. Of course, that was fake news. The real story.
Oscar worked at a Papa Johns pizza restaurant, where he was earning $350 a month.
They lived off his wage, limiting themselves to $10-a-day, because Tania had already quit her job as a cashier in a Chinese restaurant to care for Valeria, their only child.
…They were not fleeing violence, Tania’s mother has since said, but were in desperate search of a life where they could earn more.
Their plan was to spend a few years in America to save up enough money to eventually return to El Salvador and buy or build their own house.
I guess Papa John’s must pay more here in the US.
This might explain why their asylum request was taking so long to process. Ramirez and his family were looking for asylum from low-paying fast-food jobs, which isn’t how the asylum program is traditionally meant to be used. The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services website defines “asylum” this way:
Refugee status or asylum may be granted to people who have been persecuted or fear they will be persecuted on account of race, religion, nationality, and/or membership in a particular social group or political opinion.
I’m sorry this guy and his daughter died, but they did it by trying to break the law. Of course this is Donald Trump’s fault because he doesn’t want to admit the entire Third World into the United States.
Yannow whose fault this really is? It’s the fault of the people who won’t enforce our immigration laws, the Dimocrat Party and the Chamber of Commerce branch of the Republican Party. The Dimocrats want votes and the CoC Republicans want cheap labor. They’ve told all of these invaders that they are welcome to come here illegally and we won’t prosecute them if they will. If the invaders knew we were serious about our immigration laws stuff like this wouldn’t happen.
Build the Wall. Deport the illegals. It’s the humane thing to do.
