MLK Day In Atlanta
WTF happened at the Atlanta Urinal and Constipation? Normally on MLK Day it’s MLK all the time. Today there was only one story and that was about King’s daughter Berenice.
On the other hand, one of the local columnists wrote about crime in Atlanta.
The Atlanta chief of police just abolished car chases. Her statement: “I don’t want to see us cost someone their life in pursuit of an auto theft or a burglary when the courts aren’t even going to hold them accountable.”
She’s speaking about the revolving door of the Atlanta and Fulton County judicial system and the lenient judges who release scumbags on little or no bail. Of course, said scumbags immediately commit more crimes and once again are released on little or no bail. Rinse, repeat. This is especially true of young juvenile scumbags.
It doesn’t help that Atlanta has an incompetent DA, Paul “Curly” Howard. Ray Lewis and his thugs got away with murder due to his incompetence.
Yeah. Atlanta has a crime problem. Unfortunately it’s now happening in the better neighborhoods. Lenox Square Mall in Buckhead is becoming a dangerous place to shop with robberies and shootings. They just arrested a couple of Africans from out of state.
People have been robbed and carjacked in the parking lot.
MARTA has a station at Lenox, so the perps have easy transportation.
Homicides in Atlanta were up 9% last year.
