We take a break from Wuhan Flu all of the time to take a look at the new season of Westworld. I wasn’t expecting to see it this year as my cable package doesn’t have HBO, but it must have been free preview weekend so I caught the first episode. Boy were there some big plot holes.
At the end of season two Delores had wasted Charlotte Hale, the evil black chick Delos executive, and had created an android of her and apparently put her brain in it. This was a shame because now Delores was gonna be an evil black chick instead of an evil hot blonde chick.
Looks like I was wrong because in episode one Delores is back with shorter hair but just as deadly. So if Delores is Delores, who is Charlotte Hale? They can’t both be Delores can they?
How did Delores and Bernard escape from Westworld?
Delores created an android copy of Liam’s bodyguard. Whose brain is in that dude? Remember, Delores/Charlotte Hale left Westworld with a bunch of brains.
Does Delores have a secret lair? She must have if she was able to create an android of Liam’s bodyguard. How did she smuggle an android maker off of Westworld?
I guess since Charlotte Hale is now running Delos she could have made it happen. It would be nice if the writers cleared up these points.
What about William? We found out after the credits at the end of the last episode of Season 2 that he’s actually an android using Delos technology to try to attain immortality. Is he coming back? What about his daughter? She’s currently starring in Evil on CBS. Will she reappear in Westworld?
So many questions.
I guess I’ll have to read the summaries of the episodes to see if they answer them.
Westworld just begs for the kind of posts I used to do for 24.
I watched it too (in between falling asleep and not being able to follow who was shooting who)…I guess I’m just too thick to get it, but I do need to ask the question: Why does every shot taken by the rebelling androids kill a security guy (who might be androids themselves anyway!), and NONE of theirs ever seem to hit anything other than air…I guess that would shorten the show…I found the first season interesting, but I won’t go out of my way to watch it anymore…
Tessa Thompson, the black actress you refer to, has been a BBC America series, COPPER, and in a few Marvel films (“Valkyrie”), as well as that travesty of a Men in Black film.
Now Westworld. If Nolan can’t stretch her beyond the limit of her one-acre talent, then nobody can.

Well been a reader for quite some time now go to Amazon and find an XBMC box you can watch all the HBO you want for free on the east, central and west coast time zones as will as any movie, sports cast, pay per view and local stations you want. I have two and watched John Wick Parabellum last night just sayin
I really tried to watch Westworld but couldn’t after season and a half. BUT, could you direct me to where I may read your comments of 24? Now that was a great program. And as the industry does, they totally screwed it in their dumb ass remake, switching men to women, white to black. Thankfully they fell short of adding a clown car?
All my archives were destroyed when my site was hacked a few years back. But, they were preserved here. The internet is forever. I didn’t discover 24 until the 4th season so my summaries didn’t start until then. Alas, TV Without Pity shut down. They did the best takedowns and would prolly do a real good job on Westworld. I agree with a reviewer the other day who wrote that the first season of Westworld was the best.
Well with 24 gone from my life I really thought I’ed walk on coals to read or hear anyone with kind words about the series. Oh, to bring back the joy of the ticking clock, etc. After hours, which I will never get back, going thru page after page hoping to run into your run down, I quit! I’m 75 yrs. old, can’t get those hrs. back. Next time be kinder and assist a fan.

I’m 75 and miss not having 24, ticking clock, etc. and that’s why I kept scrolling. Next time give a fan a real assist.
