Been wakin up recently with pains in my hipjoints. Not a good thing. Not partic’larly keen on replacement surgery . . . assuming, of course, that the Kung Flu don’t get me first.
Starboard one went out of kilter this mornin on the way to the bathroom and made me stumble into the doorframe. Damned near knocked myself out. Stuff like that makes you wonder about stuff . . . like – why don’t people from England sound British when they sing?
Or, why is it that when the CPU in your PC overheats, the computer freezes? Sun so hot I froze to death? Suzannah?
And after “Trump’s Katrina” winds down and he’s still in office, what will The Resistance come up with as the latest “smokingest gun”?
Before DJT, we had stagnation, malaise, corruption, political entrenchment. When he’s gone, the pendulum will swing back toward all that as the traditional modus operandi of people intoxicated by the power of wealth and the sexiness of power.
Most of the left is hopelessly lost in an inescapable twilight zone of self-pity and mental anguish created for them by the Magic Negro mythology birthed and nurtured by Mammy Oprah.
And the hateful anti-Trump mainstream media perpetuates it with an uninterrupted barrage of propaganda targeting how unfair it was that Hillary lost and all their hopes of a utopian future where government takes care of everything were shattered by a non-traditional upstart rich guy who fights back.
They’ve convinced themselves and everybody whose granddaddy taught ‘em to vote for Slick, Dinglebarry, and Cankles how terrible things became even though unemployment plummeted and the economy took off like an Atlas rocket when Orangeman grabbed the helm.
They’re wallowing in their self-imposed moment of grief, which they are stretching out until Trump leaves office – by whatever means – unable to see beyond the unbearable pain of an unimaginable and unenlightened electoral college loss despite winning the popular vote.
It’s as if they WANT to be miserable and defy both common sense and reality to lurch and writhe and masochistically delight in the exquisite torture of their hatred of the guy who negated the halfrican’s bungles and got things working again.
Reality is, of course, that if even half the insults and accusations and exaggerations hurled at Trump by the rabid-left fraudstream were accurate and true, he’d be better qualified to run as a Democrat than as a Republican.
And Sanders . . . why is he running as a Democrat anyway? He has no loyalty to the Dem party or its leadership. Most of his policies are essentially Marxist, not Merican. His goal is wealth redistribution, and his loyalty is to failed revolutions.
Sundown Joe? Hah! The only way he’ll come out of Milwaukee the nominee in July will be as a figurehead nicely scrubbed and polished by the media, like a cranky old codger in an Alzheimer’s hostel-care center being followed by a herd of nurse with drool pans, diapers, and mouthwash.
In fact, a rumor is growing to draft Coronamouth Cuomo for president instead of Gropey. Hell, the Soetoro crime family is so eager and downright desperate to oust DJT and reclaim “their” territory that Godmother Felonia lost in the last war that they’re willing to prop her up again instead of a failing Walter Mitty or a Fidelista with a wife who chose to go through life fat, stupid, and corrupt.
Sometimes I think Perez and the rest of the DNC mob are getting just a little too much psilocybin in their morning mueslix and not quite enough direct sunlight. And why are they more angry at DJT for digging into Biden & Son’s corruption in Ukraine than they are that their leading PotUS candidate is so corrupt in the first place?
Another thing that sticks in my craw is the fraudstream media gleefully anticipating the final destruction of DJT by projecting the number of deaths from the COVID-19, similarly to HRC’s ill-timed and badly advised attempt at a joke about Trump making the US #1 again.
Actually, we might have reached the point in our cultural development where truck drivers, grocery store employees, and nurses are more important to us than analysts, commentators, athletes, musicians, and actors.

For the same reason why our great President Trump, with AG Barr standing off to his right, dragged John Kerry’s name through the mud over Iran’s latest threat in today’s White House press conference.
My gut tells me that in 2021 after all this Democrat governor and Fakestream news media created economic shutdown that has to be played out is over, POTUS Trump’s second term is focused on going after all the globalist America Last bastards with vengeance.
The Man is not squandering his 70’s away just to leave office and pass the baton along to some uniparty assholes like the Bushes and Romneys. That is where Reagan fucked up, Bigly.
The Republican Party is changed from that sheeple era forever. Thank, President Donald J. Trump for that.
Let’s start a rumor that DJT called Maddow a poopyhead. I’m sure Nancy would consider that to be intimidation of our free press and grounds for impeachment, impaling and wearing of a dunce cap.
Ron….Advice on joint replacements, If your hips or knees are causing you pain & affecting mobility……GETTER DONE! Men usually put off surgery due to the expected pain & lengthy rehabilitation.The Truth is the pain & lengthy rehab is BS.
In my case my knees got so bad after forsaking surgery for many years they finally failed during Deer hunting season in 2010. I was walking in a foot or so of heavily crusted snow resulting in so much pain”felt like red hot needles were being shoved into my knee joints ” I collapsed in the snow & brush to crawl several hundred yards to my truck . As stated the pain was unbearable, it takes a lot for a grown man to cry out in pain but I did.
Anyway this convinced me to make a Doctors appointment with an Orthopedic Surgeon at Cleveland Clinic. After a complete check up the verdict was in…..replace or get a wheel chair.
So in 2011 we did my right knee first then two months later my left knee. First Consideration was pain levels ……on a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being high my pain level never exceeded 2 in either surgery. I did three days of rehab at Cleveland Clinic each time & was walking with a walker the same day as surgery & going up & down stairs on the second day with a cane.
Back home after 3 weeks of rehab on machines & in the pool I no longer needed the cane . As of today I have NO pain in either knee
OK now the good news….. according to Doctor Peter Brooks who did my surgery the easiest replacement is a hip joint with the least rehab & pain. The knee is next with shoulder joints being the most difficult.
Being pain free & able to walk, hun t whatever is great……….So let us know how you make out!
Ehhhh . . . I’m on my 80th trip around the shiny thing in the system center that according to the Church of AGW has no bearing whatever on this planet’s climate.
I’ve already passed the lifetimes of all my grandparents, and I did a lotta really stupid stuff to my body for almost 40 years ’til I finally had a coronary.
So I figger I’m livin on borrowed time already, and I can still walk Monsterdawg most days, and if I can’t do that I can pedal the ol’ Schwinn around instead.
It’s bearable, and transitory, so I reckon I can endure it ’til some bug takes me out. Some days I feel like I’m 30 again.
I’ve had some surgeries requiring general anaesthesia, and I don’t come out of it well. Once they thought they’d lost me.
‘Preciate the advice, but I’m gonna stay stubborn and cantankerous.
OK I respect your choice though it sounds a lot like my excuses leading up to my decision to getter done!
For whats is worth my better half just had her right knee replaced ….successful , surgery took 1 &1/2 hours ,walking on day 2 driving after one week. She will do left knee when hospital restarts elective surgery.
My wife is much older then me {79} ….I won`t get that elderly until 06/11/2020 .Snicker

Ron is a long time reader who lives in Florida and sends me and others emails. I pick and choose from his many rants. He is career Navy who, after he got out, went to college, got a masters degree, and had a second career teaching various writing courses to college students.
