Breaks my heart. The upside is that most of those 22,000 prolly voted for Werner Wilhelm so they will be getting what they voted for…good and hard.

What is most maddening is that so many of those moving to a new locale because of high taxes and crime will mindlessly cast their votes for similar progressives, thereby bringing high taxes and crime to their new locale. My advice – stay where you are – your chickens have come home to roost!
Chicago is headed in that downward spiral as well. The recent looting targeting the area known as the Mag mile is going to hurt many retailers who will be more willing to pick up and leave Chicago because of this and the high taxes they have to pay. For many its the final straw, many will close for good and be gone. Chicago is headed into decline.
I read this morning that Macy’s is pulling out of their 170,000 sf lease at the Magnificent Lootarama Mile in Shitcagahole. They can get out after a 12 month notice, which apparently they have given. I wonder if meanwhile they will restock the shelves and replace the windows for the next looting? They “blamed” it on Covid (hahaha how pc) and security, ie the police did not respond quick enough, not on the looters of course. I wonder what the hell they thought the police were supposed to do if they did get there quickly? The police are not allowed to even give the rioters a dirty look, rrrrraaaaccccciiiiissss!!!!! If CPD arrests anyone, they are out and back looting before the cops are done with the paperwork and paperwork to cover their ass from the inevitable Internal Affairs investigation of why they arrested someone simply for rioting, destroying property, and looting. Then be lucky to get off with the 30 day suspension without pay.

All this is true and so much more. Chicago is headed downward. It will out do Detroit and be worse. Macy’s is just the beginning of the exodus from that once great city. It will be a hollow husk some 10-20 years from now or sooner.
