Protesters take over the elevated Interstate 10 during a march in New Orleans protesting the death of George Floyd, a Black man who was in police custody in Minneapolis. Advocates are intensifying their calls for city and state governments to remove the highways that destroyed Black neighborhoods.

Yep! Let’s destroy progress.

As protesters in cities from Richmond, Virginia, to San Francisco toppled statues last month, urban planner Amy Stelly allowed herself to hope that New Orleans might soon fell its own worst “racist monument.”

For much of her life, Stelly, who is Black, has lived in the shadow of the Claiborne expressway, an elevated freeway built through the Tremé, Tulane/Gravier and 7th Ward neighborhoods. She has fought to tear down the highway and restore this commercial corridor at the heart of Black New Orleans, but faced skepticism, indifference and inertia.

Now, as the nation reckons with other racist aspects of its past — with protests, in several prominent instances, on ’60s-era freeways much like the Claiborne — Shelly and other advocates around the country are intensifying their calls for city and state governments to remove the highways that destroyed Black neighborhoods.

Seems far fetched? Nothing is impossible in Dimocrat run cities.

Such teardown projects, once seen as fanciful, have gained momentum as the country’s highway infrastructure ages and early adopters show off their success. Five U.S. cities have either capped freeways or converted them to street-grade boulevards in the past three years, and similar plans are under review in states including Massachusetts, California and Texas.

Race usually has been a subtext in these conversations. But in the current climate, advocates say it’s time for cities to confront and resolve the racist planning decisions their predecessors made 60 years ago.

“It gives us more ammunition,” Stelly said. “Because when you look at how these things have developed in their totality, they’re absolutely racist.”

Yep! Interstates be racist.

Since the Africans are destroying the cities, I guess we won’t really need these interstates that go into cities. We can just use bypasses. I mean why bother taking I-10 into Nawlins when you can bypass it using I-12? Tear down these highways and let the cities die. We need more Detoilets. Let the Africans turn once vibrant cities into little Wakandas everywhere.

You would think that with the Dimocrat Asshole National Convention I would have a lot of worthy candidates for this week’s award. I mean I could add to Obungler’s record. Jimmah and BJ threw their hats into the ring. And then there was Gropey Joe. But I’m giving it to another Dimocrat, Lori Lightweight.

The George Floyd protests have devolved into violent and destructive riots in cities across America as Democratic politicians have carried water for the rioters, insisting they are merely “peaceful protesters” demonstrating against “police brutality.” They have ordered police to stand down in the face of violence and condemned President Trump for sending federal law enforcement to protect the federal courthouse in Portland. Yet many of these leftist politicians are quick to defend their own homes and families from the violence they publicly deny exists. The Chicago Police have banned protests of any kind in front of Mayor Lori Lightfoot’s residence, for instance.

Lightfoot, who has vocally supported the protesters, defended her double standard in a press conference on Thursday.

“I think that residents of this city, understanding the nature of the threats that we are receiving on a daily basis, on a daily basis, understand I have a right to make sure that my home is secure,” Lightfoot said, the Chicago Tribune reported.

Yeah, you peons. I don’t care about the rest of you. Let the animals loot stores on Michigan Ave. Let them burn and destroy businesses. But I’m better than you peasants and I don’t want those animals anywhere near my home.

She also blaming Mississippi for the gun violence in Chicago.

Lori Lightfoot seems to be pathologically incapable of accepting any responsibility for the staggering increase in shootings and homicides in the city of Chicago. For months she’s been blaming the surge in shootings and homicides on “lax gun laws” in the state of Indiana, and now she’s including the state of Mississippi in her blame game. Y’allPolitics.com, a Mississippi-based political blog, reports that Gov. Tate Reeves is giving a big “bless your heart” to Mayor Lightfoot in response to her accusations.

Yep. Them guns have been traveling from Mississippi to Chicago and have automatically, without any human assistance, started shooting people. Just wait until the cops are defunded. Then nothing will stop these guns from shooting people.

The thing about civil war statues is that they memorialize Americans who had differing opinions about some serious issues, mostly states rights versus central government, and fought over ‘em. But one side finally won the fight, and then they all became part of the same society again.

In a marriage dissolution, that’s what’s referred to as irreconcilable differences, and it’s what’s gonna happen if Trump gets another 4 years, an ugly divorce. If Biden wins, conservatives will bite the bullet and accept it, just as they did when the ignorant, racist, anti-american popinjay won 12 years ago.

The biggest question today, mid-august 2020, is whom President Harris names as HER veep when quid-pro-Joe is shuffled off to an elderhostel in the Adirondacks and pumped full of benzodiazepine or risperidone or aripiprazole every morning.

The mau-mau mantra has become “White people looted us for centuries, so it’s now our right to loot back” as they destroy businesses, homes, neighborhoods, public property, police vehicles, and even the pharmacies and groceries where they get their necessities. The fact that many of those homes and businesses were owned by people of color is immaterial to them, because they can’t read and don’t care.

So, add the destruction and violence to the fact that a candidate for the US presidency chose his running mate NOT, as the Amfrican messiah MLK said, by character or capabilities, but by the color of skin and gender. The very DEFINITION of kow-towing to racist and political-correctness pressure.

And what do you get as the final tally? Just this: America has surrendered to fear. Plain and simple. Pick a sector of activity in America – sports, business, politics, religion, education, health care, entertainment . . . they’re all pandering to blacks. Not Asians, not Latinos, but Amfricans.

People are afraid to say what they’re thinking – especially that they might vote for Trump – for fear of reprisal. And when the deciding criteria for choosing the person first in line for assuming control once Creepy Joe has his inevitable “incident” are melanin and the double X chromosome, it’s nothing but a 3rd grade class president election based on who promises the most ice cream and cookies.

Virtue signaling has replaced critical thinking in politics, advertising, sports . . . you name it. Television stations kneel to domestic terrorism in their statements of “support for the fight against systemic racism and injustice” that are now seen before major presentations, such as ball games, golf tournaments, movies.

Americans are living in fear . . . fear of speaking their own minds, fear of offending a gender-confused college kid, fear of having their car keyed for displaying the wrong bumper sticker, fear of leaving their homes without a goddam face mask which, by the way, experts have said are basically ineffective.

Pussification. It started with an arrogant, inexperienced, inept, illegitimate PotUS who wore mom jeans and rode a girly bicycle and listened to an “All Things African First” preacher for 20 years and then Soundbyte Sharpton and rap “music” thug wannbes for the next 8.

We can’t go where we want to, when we want to, with whom we want to, especially if we’re not wearing a mask . . . we can’t say what we want to . . . and now the pezzonovante want us all to live in vertical insect hives which we never leave, stop using all fossil fuels, get vaccinations which aren’t proven to work, and be RFID chipped so that we can be tracked to within centimeters at any time.

Orwell was right, of course. And so is Ayn Rand. I’m tellin ya guys . . . check out the history of Zimbabwe, or Argentina, or Venezuela – supersuccessful nations with huge GDPs and thriving economies which exported food and are now bankrupt and starving despite enormous natural resources, all because of socialism and political correctness pressure.

We’re there . . . on that ledge . . . staring down into the ragged, jagged political seppuku chasm of intimidation and accusation . . . a nation offering its testicles on the chopping block to dropout Jomo Kenyattas and Idi Amins who don’t know who their fathers were but know that everything bad that has happened since The Great Flood was caused by white people.

Fear. Who knew it was a synonym for political correctness . . . or social reform . . . or fairness . . . or equality . . . or any of the concepts our modern Goebbelses and Riefenstahls are inundating us with relentlessly in the mass media today.

Oakland Assemblyman Rob Bonta held a press conference Thursday announcing his legislation to tax the state’s wealthiest job creators and innovators – the 30,400 billionaires living and working in California. This first-in-the-nation net worth tax is estimated to generate $7.5 billion per year in new “revenues” to the state coffers.

However, the state already taxes the income that built that billionaire wealth. And California has the highest rates in the nation. Why should successful Californians pay additional taxes on wealth and income that’s already been taxed?

Good question.

Bonta’s justification for another wealth income tax on top of the highest tax rates in the nation is a “crisis in inequity” he says was created by the coronavirus. “During this pandemic, California has taken a massive economic hit that threatens to devastate our schools, social services and virtually every sector of our economy,” Bonta said. “Families are suffering as millions of Californians have lost jobs, suffered pay cuts, or endured reduced work hours.”

But the coronavirus did not create “inequities” or the struggling families. California families have long-suffered under high taxes, business-killing regulations, high cost of living, unaffordable housing and high rents, and encroaching state and local government.

“The California Wealth Tax would impose a tax on an extremely limited number of individuals (30,400 billionaires) who hold the highest levels of wealth,” Bonta said. “These are individuals who have successfully participated in California’s economy and gained tremendous wealth as a result. Requiring these well-resourced Californians to make a small additional contribution to keep our people working and prospering is the right thing to do.”

“We cannot let this moment pass,” Bonta said, calling his bill “a progressive approach.”

And what do you expect those overtaxed billionaires to do? They’ll move to Florida and Texas. Elon Musk has already moved a factory to Texas. Unfortunately, they’ll take their voting habits with them and vote for the same “progressive” policies that they are fleeing from.
