Ken Hensley, one of the founding members of Uriah Heep, just died at the age of 75. I loved the music of the 70’s.

Great underrated musician. I knew his wife Monica in the 1990’s before they met, nice lady. Uriah Heep and his other associated bands were great examples of the real “70’s sound”. Wishbone Ash falls into this category as well.
Until the day I die, some of my very favorite music will be from the 70’s. The entire decade from beginning to end. And the variety and talent will always stand out in future generations.
I am 66 years old, and back then we could immediately tell the difference between Creedence Clearwater Revival vs. the Doors vs. Fleetwood Mac vs. The Rolling Stones vs. Jimi Hendrix vs. Janis Joplin. Now all of the “hip hop” people sound exactly the same.
