Another good Brit band from the 70’s. I remember when I was working in downtown St. Louis for the Office Products Mattel Division of IBM a few of us would stop after work in this stand bar in Mansion House. This is one of the songs (the short version) we’d play on the juke box while quaffing a few brews.
A lot of the tunes that you post bring back pleasant memories from those days. There was a pretty good band at the time, Atomic Rooster, who never got significant airplay. It was formed from the members of The Crazy World Of Arthur Brown who were know for “Fire”………

Love Foghat! Saw them in ‘76 and they were really tight.
Check out their tune, “Driving Wheel”
Damn! Suddenly I am back when Rock was real…..Thanks Denny for the stroll down memory lane to a time when I was young.
Isn’t it incredible that so many great songs had a short version for radio play between commercials vs. a long version that you got when you bought the LP for yourself? Vinyl is making a comeback !
I still have a 45 with the radio version of “In A Gadda Da Vida” shortened from seventeen minutes down to three…….
Love this! Childhood as so y’all would say.
Gonna get shitty in the next few weeks. You lovely old farts, ready to support?
January 6.
Rock & Roll… The best album cover! I had it, may still have it, on 8 track.
