Prof. Schickele taught at the Univ. of Southern North Dakota at Hoople. I have the LP’s “PDQ Bach (1807-1742)?” and “The Wurst of PDQ Bach”. My brother Mike, who recommended Grouchy Old Cripple to me, has the LP “PDQ Bach on the Air”. Those in the Northeast would recognize “Concerto for Horn and Hardart”. Other compositions include “Sinfonia Concertante for Lute and Bagpipes”, Cantata “Iphigenia in Brooklyn”, and “The Unbegun Symphony”.
Haven’t heard anything so funny since l heard Prof. Walter Shickele doing Switched-on Bach at Carnegie Hall when I was a kid! Thanks!
Sorry—l meant PDQ Bach!
