A part of Mexifornia just washed into the ocean.
A huge piece of California’s Highway 1 was washed out this week by a winter storm that brought heavy rain and snow.
California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) officials said in a statement Friday a debris flow from the hillside above the roadway “overwhelmed drainage infrastructure, flowed across the highway, and eroded the road resulting in the complete loss of a segment of Highway 1” at Rat Creek, about 15 miles south of Big Sur, a mountainous stretch of the state’s central coast.

Back in my Wild, Wild West Tour, I drove Highway 1 all the way up the coast of Mexifornia in my 2001 Z3. It’s a beautiful drive and a fun drive in a roadster.
So just a small piece of Mexifornia just fell into the ocean. Now if the Big One would just hit and drop more of the state into the ocean it would solve a lot of problems, especially if it took San Fran and LA. with it. Picture thousands of liberals drowning. No, I would not mourn the dead when I think of what they have done to their state and this country.

The road near Big Sur just became Big Surf. We are seeing Act II, the rain and mudslides that follow Act I, the land mismanagement that led to the severe fires.
I drove across this piece of land a long time ago. Thankfully I wasn’t there when this happened. Too bad the Gov. wasn’t.

I blame global warming. Same for the huge snow in the northeast now. I thought snow was supposed to disappear during the winter. I guess they were wrong again. What’s ironic is that the huge snow is in AOC’s district.
I’d bet the state has spent more money fixin’ Hwy1 than all the politicians in world have spent goin’ to Globull Warmenin’ conferences. Hell, just what they spend on the Devil’s Slide area would probably house every homeless fool in the state for centuries. Yeah, it’s about the most scenic road in Kommiefornia but there’re places where you’d better watch your drivin’ and not the scenery.
Buy property in Nevada on the border with California. Chances are it will eventually be ocean front property.
