Ronsday – Kangaroo Impeachment

Where Ron gives his thoughts on the Republican Kangaroos.

Now . . . see, I watched none of the kangaroo-court impeachment trial of DJT. NONE of it.

However, unless you’re living in a cabin in the deep woods somewhere without any access to media, it’s damned difficult to be completely unaware of what went on. And what went on was criminal misrepresentation of “evidence” that Trump had ANYthing to do with what was obviously a pre-planned and organized mob action at the Capitol on 6 January.

They blatantly lied, edited video clips to basically invert their original meaning, and wildly misquoted potus 45 in ways that would’ve gotten them tarred and feathered a hundred years ago, or just summarily shot in the Old West.

So . . . the vote was 57 to 43 for conviction, which I consider a national tragedy. I mean, hell . . . the guy did more positive stuff for the country in 3 years than the past 3 administrations did in a quarter century. Jesus, Dudes . . . what the hell do you have against success?? His record speaks for itself, and the only reason legislators didn’t like him is that they couldn’t control him. Period.

We all HATE partisan politics; ergo, the fact that a few GOP senators refused to kneel to pressure from their party is a GOOD thing. The problem is that most of them did so for the wrongest possible reasons, and absolutely NONE of the Democrat senators had the courage to speak their minds and go against the grain.

Specifically, Burr of North Carolina. Goddamit, the trial was automatically moot once DJT willingly left office when his term was up, and Burr said that himself. He should have voted against the very idea of the trial, not against the guy the Dems couldn’t provide legitimate evidence to convict. He should be censured, but only for being wishy-washy.

Cassidy, Louisiana. I admire his willingness to set party loyalty aside and do what he thought was proper. The problem with him is that he’s friggin stupid and allowed himself to be convinced by falsified documents, quotes, and numbers. For THAT he should be censured, by the full Senate.

Collins, Maine. She should be censured, but only for hanging around being a goddam nuisance for so long.

Murkowski, Alaska. She also needs to be censured, but not exactly for voting against Trump, but for being an ugly witch who was born with PMS and a headache and never got over it.

Romney, Utah. Again, he SHOULD be censured, but not for failing to just go along with the party but for being a thoroughly hypocritical asshole.

Sasse, Nebraska. He SAYS he voted against Trump because the guy made such a big deal about the election being rigged and all when the “evidence” just isn’t there to make a case for widespread fraud. Holy shit, Ben . . . get your head out of your ass. You need to be not only censured, but horsewhipped for being dense.

Toomey, Pennsylvania. Needs to be censured for not being able to recognize that a hunk of geological material possessing all the qualities of stone is a friggin rock!! Pat, my boy, you’re dumber than a Swedish axe handle. Your state is amongst the most guilty in false balloting, numbers fixing, and failing to comply with its own Constitution where election laws are involved.

A whole lotta other assholes on the lib side of the aisle need to be censured, or at least lined up for a serious ass-whippin for trading in their spines for plum assignments. Virtually ALL of ‘em need to be shitcanned and replaced.

And while we’re in this discussion, Senators (and I use that term very grudgingly since I know what it was originally intended to convey), I’d like for ANY of you to explain to me exactly how the fuck we’re SO much better off with a fumbling, stumbling plagiarist in dementia signing stuff he doesn’t understand with a hypocritical whore chomping at the bit to push him out of the seat and take over herself.

  1. Hillary 2.0 is already taking official calls. What’s the over/under on the Walking Dead President leaving the Reliant Desk by this summer?
