Another non-metal Sunday. Here’s Poco again.
Once upon a time there was a band called Buffalo Springfield. When they broke up the members formed new bands. Stephen Stills became a member of Crosby, Stills and Nash (and sometimes Young). Jim Messina and Richie Furay formed Poco. Fun fact. Poco’s original bass player was Randy Meisner who left to join the Eagles. He was replaced by Timothy B. Schmit. When Meisner quit the Eagles, Schmit left Poco and replaced him in that band.
Love this song. Have you heard this version? Dan Fogelberg with Timothy B. Schmidt.

This is great! I love non-metal Sundays!
In Brazil, a bass player is called a contrabaixo. The best one was Arthur Maia (1962-2018). He played with multiple Brazilian musicians and also with the Manhattan Transfer on their album “Brasil”.
