I’ve said it many times, I like the early Led Zeppelin the best when they did their blues infused rock like Dazed and Confused, The Lemon Song, and Since I’ve Been Loving You. Some of their later stuff was crap!

I agree, Denny. Physical Graffiti is a bloated album and Presence they were all too stoned.
Have to agree on Zeppelin’s later music. Tho, in my carefree yute mid-1980’s treasure coast Florida life as first mate on sportfishing charter boats imbibing unrealistic quantities of Albertsons spiced rum and coke, saving the bails, and chasing bikinis, I do seem to recall Kashmir being a daily ritual as detour from the Buffett all-the-time airwaves.
I tend to agree with you there Denny. However on one of their later albums, “Houses of the Holy.” There is a song “Over the Hills and Far Away.” That is one of my top ten favorite songs, and I love listening to even to this day.
I agree. Their first album is still one of my favorites. After the fourth, I lost interest. There are still some good songs on their later stuff, though. Just not kick-butt like their early albums.
I always turn up the radio when a Led Zep tune comes on. It’s nearly impossible to top that first album but there are some definite winners down the line.
